Grand Canyon Whitmore Canyon Overlook (Part 3)

Day 2 of our ride took us to the Bar 10 Ranch in Whitmore Canyon of the Grand Canyon. Most of us were running low on fuel and food so Bar 10 was a welcome site. Once checked at Bar 10 and before dinner we rode out to the Whitmore overlook. Whitmore Canyon drops in elevation and gets you down pretty close to the Colorado River.
If you get a chance to stay at the Bar 10 , do it. The food is superb and entertainment is fun.
This was a three day adventure bike ride to t he Grand Canyon to visit four of the lesser known trails and overlooks of the Grand Canyon.
We started our trip in St. George, Utah. Distance from St. George to Twin Point, the first overlook was about 95 miles. Seven of went on this trip. Jared on the GS 1200, CJ on the KLR 650, CJ's dad Brandon on the KLR 650, Sanpete Jeff on the Tenere 700, Dave on the 890 Adventure R, Darin on the Norden 901, and me on the 890 Adventure.
