Loading a mattress into a van for my brother and a rando shows up and is like "you want help?" - without saying yes he was helping my brother push whilst i was guiding - goes straight into my head and busts my prescription sunglasses. I'm standin there teying to bend everything back to shape so i can at least tey and wear it, i look up and i see the blurry image of the guy looking over his shoulder, giving a smile and a thumbs up. Yea cheers buddy 😂😅 (heart was in the right place tho)

I've been testing out variations of "have a nice day" and "hope things get better from here" (all of which I do actually mean genuinely) as a way to encourage people I see throughout the day who look like they need or want some human interaction. It's gotten a surprisingly positive response from most people and so far I haven't had any completely miserable failures. You might give it a try as a pretty small way that you can be helpful by brightening someone's day. ☀️

One time at school a preschooler knocked over a plant, getting dirt everywhere. I got a broom, he wanted to sweep, then while sweeping he ended up knocking over a vase and breaking it 😂 Thankfully he didn't get hurt. I told him "your not in trouble, it was just an accident, I'll finish cleaning it up for you" before he could make it any worse lol
