Cool little easter egg I just noticed. In an episode of Spongebob, when Spongebob and Patrick pretended to be ghosts with the invisible spray, Mr. Krabs was the only person who didn't believe in ghosts. At 1:02, Danny mentions the Spector deflector, which is the exact same device that Mr. Krabs mentioned he'd had to keep ghosts away. That is really cool honestly.
.....that's also literally the name of the belt, though. I don't know which came first, so it might be a reference, but that's what his dad named the belt.

The ultimate enemy was probably my next favorite episode then all the other ones because this one was pretty impacting because of Danny basically learning how his future was going to be like and he always thought he’s gonna be the superhero from identity crisis but ever since that one test that cat test His future became not as Super let’s just say it became more villainess and he learns that if he goes this route, he becomes a more powerful, super villain. Basically his future is that he becomes a villain he destroys amity park and Valerie has to stop him it’s just that she doesn’t understand how powerful dark Danny is which is why I like this episode because of two reasons, Danny basically facing his future self and also learning to be a better person and not a cheater because cheaters will always conquer what they desire which is pretty insane this episode I just wish we had more of a better battle because I think Super Danny and dark Danny would’ve been a better idea for a battle because I could imagine the heroic brave super super Danny actually being really strong and buff well dark Danny he’s buff and strong, but still carrying his villainess hectic it would be pretty cool of a battle between Super strong Super Danny with heroic and family on his side to stop his future self. I think it be a better battle but this I do like thanks for making a great awesome can’t wait to see more of you in the future.❤❤❤❤😊😊😊😊

Easily the best fight in the entire series. Danny goes in using tactics and using various ghost weapons created by his parents which take Dark Danny by surprise, but he fights through them and demonstrates his horrifying raw strength and power. Danny then takes his evil self by surprise by unleashing his Ghostly Wail and manages to capture Dark Danny. Truly a awesome fight.
The irony of this episode is that everything that made Dark Danny what and who he was, was all his fault. Clockwork simply allowed the events to unfold as a way of teaching past Danny a lesson of morality and humility. Danny had all the power in the world to do whatever he pleased, he abused his powers to get back at those who picked on him, and even tried to cheat on a test by stealing the answers. In the end Danny made the choice to undo what he would become. But his darker side still exists because Danny still has some of those dark temptations looming within him. It’s the ghostly nature that gives him those dark feelings. But because Danny is still human, his other half will never truly take over him.

A time looping paradox if you wanna call it. Danny was always destined to lose, but through facing his darkest fears, ultimate regret, and darker self, Danny was freed from the confides of time and Clockwork helped give him a second chance at life. This would later allow Danny to prove his worth as the ultimate hero. As for Dark Danny he remains because Danny still does have darker tendencies, but holds back for the sake of his humanity and the love of his friends and family.
