I fully agree and endorse Dr Srinivas suggestions. Sridhar should be awarded even more than DOCTORATE - what a wealth of information he has and amazing research out put on our great Vedas and related! Hats off to him.
He deserves much more than an ordinary "doctorate" in capital letters. We do have honorary epithets like Mahamahopadhyaya and so on. The Veda vidwans might ponder on it and decide with their wisdom.

Very nicely said. Musicians now are in a trend to humiliate our faith to please other religious institutions. Taking our ragams from vedam to go sing in other religions and ask what s wrong. Nothing wrong but just agree that all the ragams are from vedam and give the credits and not sound like as if they created it with their brains...
Awesome Upanyasam by Sridhar, very interesting and easy to follow slogas and mantras. Many of us heard the story of Ramayana but never had a chance to learn the Sanskrit mantras and the deep meaning of vedas hidden behind it.Today I just heard the part-1 and will listen to all the remaining parts later.
Thank you so so much for the detailed upanyaasam with all the off-shoot stories. I am taking notes, so that I can use them to learn myself and teach children the Geography of our ancient Land, and the Geography of all ancient Lands. I wish we had one source from where we can study in a systematic manner the many subjects pertaining to our very ancient origins. Geography, history, physics, chemistry, botany, mathematics, languages, and more - all separately. I wish we had a parallel curriculum for our school and college learners, where they would gain, alongside the current knowledge, proficieny in the understanding of our foundations.
