I finally ordered the double sided tackle organizer, that looks like the perfect box to carry for crappie fishing. Told my wife I needed a new fishing purse to match the boots I just got, she understood. I’m gonna keep those creek croakers in mind, I’m having trouble locating something similar that I have had success throwing. Thanks for the work you put in Chris.
I’m envious you’re able to get out. Northern Ohio where I live is under a LOT of snow at the moment. Teens/20’s are the highs for the next while. Everyone is chasing Steelhead at the moment and the DNR stocked rainbows in several pond/rivers including the Cuyahoga River. Thx for sharing the products, will check them out fo sho! Have a great week!
Mono, no more than 6. Braid 4-10 depeding on where im at. The leader for the braid, if im using one is 4-6 in this spot, 4-8 on the river since it’s so much more rocky.
I am fishing for trout also. And they are on the bottom. Here is the trick I am using. It has been very successful. I basically use a Carolina rig tied to an unweighted hook at the end. I put a Zman wormz yellow soft plastic on the end. The plastic will slowly rise to the top because it will still float with a light weight hook. It is the slow rising action that causes the fish to strike! I am fishing off the bottom with a slow rising floating soft plastic.
@@ReelOfLife423they also stock it with catfish during the warmer months because they occasionally have kids fishing derby’s but there’s also bass and various panfish in there.
Try drifting Creek Life’s tiny little hellgramites and stoneflies and sculpins on a 1/64th oz jig for those trout. Works great for me, I trout fish at least once a week in fall/winter. PS I dig that ol Cherokee!
I am fishing it very slow....almost like a live worm....I let it set for 30 seconds then move it slightly. I get the most strikes when I am doing nothing. Thank you for the video!!
Everything is frozen here, and there are many more days of it on the way. My go-to’s for trout are Berkeley Micetails and Acme Kastmasters. Hopefully, it will warm up soon.
@FishingWithChris_Tv put on the Cheb and catch us a dad gum Nissan . I was thinking a year ago I needed some of those but all I've used this year are I_fish jig heads but those interest me
I like the feel/look of that black spinner with a single hook. My brain tells me the hookup ratio would be better than the ones with trebbles….. maybe thats just cause i lost like a 20” brown trout recently on a trebble hook spinner recently. Blows my mind how a fish can spit a trebble😢
Chris thanks for sharing I love the new products you received I’m really been eyeing everything this affiliate partner you have and will be soon start building a small empire of a lot of these baits! Since 2008 that is my favorite target fish in Colorado has been trout before I was introduced again to pan and bass fishing! If you and John ever made your way to my neck of the woods would love to do a huge catch and cook camping trip someday! My one question for you compared to Mule baits what is the elastic integrity do they have a nice stretchy strength to them and long lasting? Thank you Chris tight lines take care and God bless!

Such a good watch! Awesome fishing buddy! 🔥🎣
Thanks for the video. Love creek fishing and using light weight lures. Can’t wait for spring trout season to begin.

Fish tend to be less active in the winter, so what line diameter are you using?

Love the video. New subscriber, from my channel to yours! We have a trout lake here in Chattanooga that I’ve never fished. Plan to fish it this week!
Lake junior? That was stocked about a month ago if I’m not mistaken and camp Jordan was stocked recently also.
@ Yes. I was told that they were stocking it on the 8th, in 2 days. Where is trout at Camp Jordan?
@@ReelOfLife423the pond behind the arena.
@ I never knew they stocked trout in there! I definitely try it out!
