I came here after delving into the old soundtracks and then realizing I couldn't remember a single standout song from Shadowlands. WoW music fell off a cliff when Russel Brower quit after Legion, the identity of the soundtracks changed, all melody gone. This is droning, mundane pap compared to what we once had.
Really? It's so generic. Every WOW soundtrack sounds the same, some angelic choir, some sweeping violins, and then wind instruments pretending to be dramatic. Every soundtrack is exactly the same following the same formula. No originality, nothing unique, nothing memorable. Diablo music is far more original. Less so with D3 but D1 and D2 are absolutely some of the best soundtracks ever created.

Many of the best ones I've listened to thousands of times so sometimes I put on something different including inferior stuff like WoW. But then the game itself was made for dull unimaginative people so perhaps it was made to mirror their low artistic values.
Haven't played WoW in years But every time i listen to each soundtrack, it takes me back to running through Nagrand or Zagramarsh back in BC. Outstanding Soundtracks - They pull you in and send you off on a journey.
the maldraxxus music is so good... i knew i wanted to go necrolords since the afterlives cinematic, but i didn't know what to expect from the music there until i turned my volume up right outside the seat of the primus. the bastion music is also really good, it makes me excited to get a character set up as kyrian! with its own solemn sounds, as well as the occasional beat that takes me back to dark souls, running through such a beautifully stunning zone with my sound turned up high was an experience I'm very glad to be able to have throughout this expansion.
Bolvar's theme reminds me of Alliance's theme from MoP, the one that plays in Lion's Landing. Fits considering he is, despite everything, remembered as a hero of the Alliance

warcraft has always been very fun with songs, soundtracks. One of the most important factors of the game is its melodies, its atmosphere, its world, which attracts people and gives them unforgettable moments.
honestly the thing about shadowlands is that the more I've looked back at it, the more enjoyuable it was. fun plots, awesome graphycs and art, the covanents were cool as all heck, and a bunch of fun lore, even the vilains were alright, even zoval, becoas he was being played (by the real vilain sire denethrias). music, banger theming, banger lore, half and half.

Maldraxxus music is my favorite. It has more parts from original Warcraft soundtrack than other tracks from other locations. They fit more to the some Asian rpg game rather than Warcraft. Also, Den of Opportunities is very beautiful and has some so-called Warcraft style.

Unless Russel Bower returned, I don't think he was involved in this soundtrack since his position was eliminated a year ago. Of course, some of his themes will live on in new renditions! 24:37 A short reference to his themes from the famous WOTLK track, "Invincible". 25:55 A short reference to Jason Hayes' WOTLK cinematic intro theme.

The whole expansion feels different. It’s cool and I’m super excited so far, but it feels so far from “home”. Going back to Azeroth for an auction is a relief 😂

The Maw sounds a lot like Star Wars to me. For example at 1:29:09 (Episode 1 where they fight the first Sith) Or at 1:28:02 sounds a little like the imperial march soundtrack
No problem, I only played WoW on private servers, I really recommend playing on TauriWoW. Expansion up to mist of pandaria and the script is literally perfect, no bug on any quests. It is free forever of course. Don't try playing on Wow Freakz server which is legion expansion but a lot of bugs

Shadowlands had so much potential but at some point the addon got stuck and I had the feeling that the developer wanted to bring this to end so fast they could. It is a pity because strictly speaking all addons before build up for Shadowlands. I hope some contents will be come back with a better setting like the Sire (think on it, HE IS ALIVE!) Jailor, Primus and other charakters and places. No matter how stupid the addon got, the music and the setting remain fantastic 😍

Sounds like most of it got inspired by Hobbit and LOTR soundtracks -- not Warcraft. It's still amazing, though.
Players dont appreciate Wow: Shadowlands both Lore and Music. Just enjoy the game ffs, its a fantasy word not everything needs to make sence! EPIC !!!

You can purchase the soundtracks through any sort of service like Apple Music, Amazon, or Google. You don't need to purchase the collector's edition or the game to get the music.
