Having seen Lee Evans perform this live it brings back so many good memories. What an absolute showman he was. I wish he'd do 1 final tour because we sure could do with a bloody good laugh right now.
This was how I discovered Lee. 5:15 This part featured on a Queen documentary and I was hooked on his comedy ever since. Saw him live in Cambridge in 2003 and he even did this at the request of the audience. Was fantastic. Frank Spencer meets Norman Wisdom!
Awesome! I would have loved to have gone to one of his live shows 😄 When I first discovered Lee Evans stand up was when I was shown his tractor sketch 😂 But I then remembered I'd seen him before in a film with Oliver Platt: Funny Bones... it was so surreal seeing the same character doing stand up and realising how big he was
I wish Lee reinacted this for his Monsters last DVD. Couldn't find this for ages on here as I couldn't remember what it was called. But then I remembered it contained him hitting a squash ball.
A long long time ago when they had to go everywhere I saw lee do this on bournemouth piers comedy club night and that was about mid 80s but didn't he develop to be a great comedian
The physical comedy is a work of genius.
This timing is fantastic
