My family has both the cars. When I drive alone, i prefer nexon as it is more punchy. But when I am going out with my family I always drive new brezza. New brezza feels and works like a complete family car. Very low engine sound on driving @ 100+, absorbs road bumps efficiently, driving experience is good and most importantly, any mechanic can resolve its 90% of the issues. Also the looks are killer from front and back.
I'm planning to buy Nexon XZ + HS. Should I opt for petrol or diesel? My monthly running is less than 500 kms. Everyone is saying to opt for Diesel since the mileage is good and the engine can last upto 15 years. But my budget is low. Need advice. Thanks
Not a prospective buyer but here's my wishlist for Nexon: 1. DCA in petrol Nexon 2. Proper TC AT in diesel 3. AWD in both petrol and diesel (will be a unique proposition, I think, can add 2000 to 3000 more units to monthly sales). Don't know if possible on Nexon's current platform. 4. Huge touchscreen and more luxurious interiors(not my wishlist but markets') These changes, especially change from AMT to proper ATs can further catapult Nexon's sales to next level.
Right. Tbh I would pay as much as Brezza's current price for the points 1 and 4, if the rear looks are also improved. Currently it does look a bit stupid (someone said froglike, and I agree)

What they said about AMT was correct in my case. The only reason for me to reject Nexon was the AMT. If Tata gave any other tech even CVT i would have blindly taken.

Brezza is one of few Maruti cars which actually is good. Can't hate it for being a Maruti even if you want to. On the other Tata does need to improve its gearbox and display and camera. Camera is still better than what you get in Skoda and VW. Irony is Nexon back is one thing you can't like even if you want to.😂
Nice analysis bhai. I was confused between Nexon and New Brezza. But I was shocked to know that even the topmost variant of Nexon has only 2 airbags ! That's why I finalized New Brezza ZXI plus automatic.

I have the same variant. The amt tuning really need serious work for this car because the gear shifts are based on the speed instead of revs. For example the upshift to the 5th gear happens that around 70 km per hour and the upshift to the 6th gear happens only at around 83 km per hour. This is with the default city mode. All other AMT cars upshifts if it has reached the min speed required. Hence this AMT doesn't give the best mileage in b2b traffic.
May people agree or disagree but Brezza's design features engine refinement mileage looks premiumness and maruti's sale service far better than tata's nexon

Guys Nexon is a very strong car, Its a completely dependable car. Yes, some minor issues are there like side pillar, mileage but I drove my car around 115+ and steering didn't shake even little bit. I took my Nexon on one of the worst road and there was Hyundai Aura which got stuck right in front of me, I was scared but Nexon moved as smooth as a highway road.

I am not sure, but I think Nexon still uses the older-gen AMT and the Punch gets a more recent version(I am guessing purely on the reviews or Punch AMT).
Hyundai AMTs are best..agar TATA amt me khinchna hai with less jerk..to thoda hard foot chalao lekin gear change se just pahle foot light krlo..gear kab change hoga ye use krke experience se aajata hai in 5-6 months..mainly jerk 1st and 2nd gear me hota hai..basically gaadi ko momentum me laake gear change se pahle RPM low krdena hai..gaadi ko major power momentum banane ke liye chahye..jerk sirf gear change ke tym pe high RPM se hota hai..
I think if Brezza comes with 1.2 K12C Series Engine, then the extra Tax we are paying for 1.5 Ltr Engine, the cost will reduce by huge amount. And surely the Brezza will become well package & VFM product.

I am using brezza vdi since 4 yeras tension free vehicle. Engine is very peppy. As the ages done DDi DDi engine refinement next level. 21 mileage. No problem.
It’s because leg room is very important while deciding which car to buy. So the reviewer needs to mention his height so that viewers can get an idea of how much leg room they will get. The autocar lady reviewer is just 5 feet 4 inches. She also mentions her height while showing leg room.
Nexon for safety and performance only. But Brezza is a perfect family car and also the most reliable one. That's why it's the leader of the segment from the beginning.

Maruti will continue to dominate due to past records of good service, affordable spares, easy availability and better mileage. Tata is gaining more respect but will find it hard to beat Maruti. They have to improve after sales service.
Ravi is top driving enthusiast and expert, hence AMT won't satisfy him, but for normal people it will still stand good, don't think twice if you want safe car. Tata Service is Yaakk.

And I feel suspension set up is sorted in Nexon. I live in quarry belt area and suspension has been tortured even on small boulders and it performs really well. it tackles small potholes smoothly but u can feel those potholes in cabin in brezza though brezza has edge of good automatic and fresh interiors but Nexon too has some edges over brezza.. Also don't forget better stock music system in nexon. Every car has something or other special no car is perfect scope of improvement is always there i too hv XUV 300 diesel and when it comes to performance no brezza vrezza can beat feel of my diesel XUV 300

Tyres should be almost new. Check the manufacturing date on tyre, it is engraved, that should be close to the manufacturing of car. Hence u can check genuine kms driven.

What is the life of a mild hybrid battery and its replacement cost? 3. Are the ventilated seats available in the after market effective enough and worth the cost? Ravi ji phado mein 5star safety nahi complete peace of mind chahiya phadi mein 4cylinder natural aspirated silent engine jyada kamyab hai 3cylinder sa not accepted . tata ki car mein after sales service abi uss level ka nahi hai jitna maruti cars ka hai. Maruti cars are better mileage machine than tata tanks. We select brezza definitely.

how about air bags? Why havent I seen many reviews on just 2 airbags in Nexon.? What am I missing here?

If you need petrol go for brezza and you need diseal go for nexon (Manual) both are grat choise . And also tx for DDS sir for your hard work

Guys Nexon is a very strong car, Its a completely dependable car. Yes, some minor issues are there like side pillar, mileage but I drove my car around 115+ and steering didn't shake even little bit. I took my Nexon on one of the worst road and there was Hyundai Aura which got stuck right in front of me, I was scared but Nexon moved as smooth as a highway road.

Brezza bhi shayad 17-18 mileage de rahi hogi but maine jab logo se poocha tha sabne bola ki Brezza kuch saalo mein bol jaati hai. Yeh sabki personal choice but yes in comparison Brezza vfm hai Nexon but as I said I prefer Indian make. I will go for bigger suv of Mahindra and mantain small car of Tata.

I am not sure, but I think Nexon still uses the older-gen AMT and the Punch gets a more recent version(I am guessing purely on the reviews or Punch AMT).

I am using brezza vdi since 4 yeras tension free vehicle. Engine is very peppy. As the ages done DDi DDi engine refinement next level. 21 mileage. No problem.
Suzuki diesels were definitely good. But so is Tata Nexon diesel, much better than petrol versions
Fiat 1.3 engine has huge turbo lag whereas amaze has linear power.

@@doctorlogical2263 well I don't give much damn to mileage. And all ice cars will cause pollution. There is nothing much about pollution when u drive ICE. And I feel suspension set up is sorted in Nexon. I live in quarry belt area and suspension has been tortured even on small boulders and it performs really well. it tackles small potholes smoothly but u can feel those potholes in cabin in brezza though brezza has edge of good automatic and fresh interiors but Nexon too has some edges over brezza.. Also don't forget better stock music system in nexon. Every car has something or other special no car is perfect scope of improvement is always there i too hv XUV 300 diesel and when it comes to performance no brezza vrezza can beat feel of my diesel XUV 300

Maruti cars are better mileage machine than tata tanks. We select brezza definitely.
