Terrific video! Also, a big shout-out to all of the brave, local lifesavers, rescue helicopter pilots and first responders who have pulled bodies out of that blowhole. A special mention to the police who have had to deal with devastated families of the deceased. The local newspapers who get to write the reports. And the community, who are affected every time we hear of another tragedy at our blowhole. While you can't stop stupidity, you sure can film it, edit it with music, and upload it to TH-cam for likes.

Damien Quinn other people’s mistakes should ruin it for everyone?

@@adventuredownunder2131 Ruining it for everyone? Perhaps ask the local Emergency Services that question? Because I bet they can't get enough of pulling "mistakes" out of the water. Now I don't know whether to laugh or bang my head against this wall. Perhaps it'll knock the IQ down a few levels to understand your question.

@@damienquinn hmm not to sure banging your head against a wall will help. I’ll give you an analogy for your reasoning. Perhaps ask the emergency services that question when they are attending the scene of a car crash with killed occupants or people trapped inside a mangled car... with your logic and reasoning you’d be suggesting people stop driving because a few make mistakes. I bet emergency services get enough of pulling “mistakes” out of trapped cars.

@@adventuredownunder2131 Hmmm, I think we're not quite on the same page. Taking a premeditated risk is not just a "mistake". Deciding to overtake on a blind corner, or driving down the shops while you're still full of booze, or even grabbing all your GoPro's, diving boots and jumping into an unpredictable blowhole? These aren't "mistakes". They're risks. Worse even - they're planned risks. When someone's deliberate risk results in some other poor person in a uniform, having to deliver devastating news to a family, time and time again, of course yes it should be stopped - for all of us.
Your driving example assumes anyone who ends up in a crash, just made a mistake and thus we should all be punished. I don't agree with that either. Shouldn't anyone who exhibits risky behavior which could cause injury or loss of life, have their ability to drive removed? And that behavior banned for the rest of us? (Another example - gunning it through an orange light when you're late). I mean, that's exactly how our current road rules work. I wouldn't want to gamble taking to the road if there were no rules to prevent risk takers being free to drive how they want. Would you?
