- The best way to attend this year's Melbourne model train show is by trains! So join us on Sunday 4th of August, 2024 with Steamrail Victoria's Tait shuttle!
Come see the magic and intricacies of model railways at this family friend event!
New layouts, displays and demonstrations from local and interstate clubs, Children's U Drive, railway organisations as well as trade stands, new and second goods!

TIMETABLE
Tickets are to be purchased to travel on the desired train from Flinders Street to Showgrounds.
Your ticket will allow boarding of any return trains departing Showgrounds for Flinders Street.
One way tickets will be available to purchase on the platform at Showgrounds.

9 am - 5 pm Saturday, 9 am - 4 pm Sunday
Admission; flat rate $15 each. Under-16 age; Free if accompanied by a paid admission. Tickets will only be available at the gate, with either cash or card payment options.
Conditions of Entry;- No pets allowed.- You may be photographed and your image may be used in promotional material.- Alcohol must not be brought into the venue.- No bare feet.

How to get there:
By Car
There is off street parking or on street parking. Paid parking will be available provided by the Melbourne Showgrounds at $20 per day.
By Train:
Saturday Only: Train to Flemington Racecourse from the CBD check station signs at Flinders Street or PTV Ap. Then a short walk to the showgrounds.
On Sunday only: Vintage Tait train run but Steamrail Victoria
Train to Newmarket then the 57 tram down Epson Road.
By Tram:
57 West Maribyrnong - Flinders Street Station & City stop 32 Showgrounds Village Shopping Centre on Epsom Road from Elizabeth Street in the CBD.
By Bus:
Bus No. 472 (Williamstown to Moonee Ponds) stops along Langs Road. Bus No. 404 (Footscray to Moonee Ponds) stops on the corner of Epsom and Ascot Vale Roads.
