So I chose to replace the shock absorbers with those of the SUNTOUR TRIAir2, hoping for a better experience. Waiting for the adapted DU liner.Thank you for your video 👍
Hi, so with shocks, you usually have an air shock version which you need to keep pumping up with air in order for it to sustain the ability to take off the pressure of bumps when you go over them. Then you have coil shocks. Most people will consider Coil shocks over air because it's less maintenance. With Coil, you just twist the coils and set your dampening that way.
I own the fox float factory x2 it Would be nice if it fit!!! Sidenote I don't think Vince is interested in the Apex and looks like he has his hands full with xway, blitz ect... So realistically i know there will be a fix or new linkages. i just don't think I'm ready to wait for it. By then, the blitz Pro will be out, and this wheel most likely be taking the back burner.
Not surprising at all. I tried to voice my concerns on the EUC forum and people gave me a hard tome, telling me to give NOSFET benefit of the doubt and to not pick on a new manufacturer, Now look at what’s happening… no sympathy for anyone who preordered one of these thinking it would be a finished product.
If after all this time with the constant drama with this wheel, if you still buy it, you’re a fool. Jack, go back to the drawing board, slow down, and start again. Put your ego after your professionalism.
I was interested to know what the measurements of the opened shock stroke was to the bump stops. How much the bumpstop limit the stroke. 100% makes sense when the air runs high PSI and is fully compressed air will just bust over the seals, Considering the 5.0 ratio to 1.5 ratio of the apex the shocks needs that high PSI. The shock gets a workout. We know the path begode took. Same story different manufacture.
They are shipping out a coil shock 1000 and 1300lb coils. Sliders are still sliding and firmware is better so that’s cool. I’m excited to see where we are at with this wheel in like 3 months.
Put it elsewhere at this point, there are things that they have to iron out with this wheel. You don't want to get stuck with something you can't even exchange
@curtflirt2 over the life span of the master and the extreme and all the renditions of linkages and how long it took to get the correct geometry. Didn't happen overnight for either wheel. im simply baseing the timeframe of those advancements. Also speaking from a racing standpoint as far as the Apexs competition.
@@Euc_AnakinThere are currently other wheels on the market that aren't having this many issues. He could even go for the Sherman L for a little more but without these issues. I am not hearing anything about the L. The Blitz is good.
@curtflirt2 not to mention the p50b cells just hit the market! As far as a replacement I'm looking into the Blitz Pro and not pulling any triggers until I can confirm when the p50b will come stock or as an upgrade. The upgrade will be worth the wait.
Why can't Jason just send you another wheel already?!! You are paying good money for these wheels, if something is defective, you should be able to exchange it.
@@trubttam He should be sending you a brand new wheel and keep the current one you have and all of its issues. The shock is a problem, the suspension sliders are a problem. The air gasket is an issue and needed to be fixed. I mean who would have ever thought that you would be sent a damaged wheel especially being the one who exposed the issues with the demo version! WOW, just WOW! You are being very nice for not demanding a new wheel, I commend you, couldn't be me though, the wheel just is too pricey for that.
Doesn't get old, every input counts 😉 thanks for the feedback!

I changed my preorder to a spring shock, and got my email from ewheels that it's ready for shipment. Just to let everyone know.
Is that the 1000 or the 1300?
I didn't see an option on ewheels to choose the spring shock, did you message them? I have one preordered and would prefer the spring myself.
@@dnthmn117 The 1300. I'm 220 lbs.
I don't understand shocks, forgive me. Is there an oil-filled version? From what I've viewed, I don't have confidence in air shocks.

The bump stops are about 9.7mm each
My deposit might be going elsewhere soon

They are replacing the shock. It will get here tomorrow. Coil instead of air.

This is the deadest wheel... Forget it and move on🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡
This wheel just looks like a s22 with maybe even more problems. Also premium price for the first wheel they release is just greedy
The cost of manufacturing is more expensive with 1st wheel buying all necessary equipment. Sometimes there is no choice but to charge more premium.
