Margot Robbie could probably also become a gymnast. She didn't use wires in the elevator scene - and she was wearing stilettos. I think that is pretty cool and no one talks about that
they are too busy calling her a whore because she is insanely hot (jealousy) and rocks those hot pants. Even though all of harleys outfits are extremely sexy including the skin tight jester outfit.
She trained to be able to do that, since it's a part of Harley's fighting style (because she was an olympic level gymnast before she broke her leg and then turned to psycolgy) and she wanted that to show in the way she moved.
You consider it genius to take massive amounts of drugs, alcohol, and pills? The dude wasnt acting, he was just showing up to set and being a junky while reading lines with a slight accent. Then died of an overdose. Not much of a performance if you ask me.

haha makes total sense how holding your breath for a few minutes beats locking yourself in a hotel room for 4 weeks without any outside connection, or starving yourself
I agree with the starving yourself part but the locking yourself in a hotel room for 4 weeks isn't too bad, not like the other two anyway. Also It's easy to say 5 minutes of holding your breath is not that hard when you probably haven't tried it yourself, I know I can't hold my breath for more then a minute if not less xD
He calls the Machinist a flop in a mocking fashion after mentioning that Christian Bale lost so much weight to the point of near death. Not all movies are about raking in a 100 million to a billion, and surely it wasnt expected of the Machinist. Have a little respect for the commitment to the character. Wish all actors have his discipline.
Sorry I insulted your boyfriend, but you're the moron and very much sadly mistaken. I know you cant help being stupid, so just shut up if you have no idea what you're talking about.
imagine a movie with all these aforementioned actors in it they'd probably have a massive orgy before fucking killing each other!! WAAAY TOO FAR but what a way to go!!
How to take a role "WAY Too Far!": Stay in a hotel room, read some comic books and actually trying to get into the role you're being paid millions of dollars to play. Seriously, people need to stop disrespecting Ledger's memory by pretending he was some amateur who went crazy because of a movie role. He did NOT go crazy from playing The Joker. He had already started working on a new movie when he died.
Daniel Day-Lewis also slept in an abandoned jail and ate only prison rations for In The Name of the Father (1993). For Gangs of New York (2002) he trained as a butcher, caught pneumonia while on set (having refused to change his threadbare coat for a warmer one because it hadn't existed in the 19th century), and wandered about Rome (where Gangs was filmed) in character, fighting strangers. For Licoln (2012), he didn't break character for THREE months while filming and made cast, crew and Spielberg call him "Mr. President". He also didn't break character for My Left Foot (1989), never leaving his wheelchair and being spoon-fed by the crew. For There Will Be Blood (2008) he didn't break character either. This man is crazy awesome. My favorite actor of all times.

Margot Robbie is so beautiful it's insane, like looking at a modern day goddess. She's an awesome model, her looks are so versatile, she's able to look completely different in whatever acting role she chooses. I think she impressed us all that she could act this well, talent and beauty. I wouldn't be surprised if she can sing to, she's awesome.
Is it just me or did anyone else like the dark knight joker over suicide joker? I mostly only think so because of the look, the joker from the dark knight looks better to me. And I feel like that joker is more of a joker where Leto was more like bat shit crazy.
The Punk Vegan it was a little sketchy... but it's the joker we're talking about so. I guess that was kinda predictable but still not exactly right. Idk if that even made sense but whatever.
The Pink Nightmare yeah I really liked that film I need to buy it and watch it again. Lots of films were flops when they were released though but turned into cult classics like Donnie Darko and The Big Lebowski not sure if that will happen with The Machinist but I thought it was a good film too

Well, not many actors are willing to poke holes in their bodies for a role. And yeah, you can remove the piercings, but the holes stay for a while. I know, I haven't worn anything in my ears for years, but the holes are still there.

In the dark knight interrogation scene, Heath ledger actually asked Christan Bale to beat him; because he wanted the scene to be more believable. At that time Christan Bale was looking like a pro boxer, so dedication there

The thing with "acting" is: you don't play your role - you become the role. The best actors don't pretend to be someone else, they change their personality. As a result a part of the roles you "play", will stick with you. Becoming the joker, especially that kind of training (locking himself up for weeks etc), played a huge part in his death imo.
To be honest, after watching Suicide Squad i never really felt the presence of the Joker. Maybe if he had more scenes, or he would have done some creepy things, but i am glad they chose the other Joker played by Heath Ledger who is, in my opinion, the best Joker ever.
Jim Carrey as Andy Kaufman. He lived and breathed Kaufman on set and off. Apparently he didn't break character during the entire filming (at least not in front of people). It allegedly freaked out all those who knew Kaufman that were on set including the Taxi show actors.
Margot Robbie could probably also become a gymnast. She didn't use wires in the elevator scene - and she was wearing stilettos. I think that is pretty cool and no one talks about that

Clayton Pehrson only good joker? Jack Nicholson kicked ass

Jim Carrey as Andy Kaufman. He lived and breathed Kaufman on set and off. Apparently he didn't break character during the entire filming (at least not in front of people). It allegedly freaked out all those who knew Kaufman that were on set including the Taxi show actors.
Jared Leeto. Really.
bmacxx yes
R.I.P. Heath Ledger
I truly think Jared Leto should be somewhere on here. And Chris Hemsworth.
Keanu Reeves in 'Speed' (1994)
