    4:55 Thank you. This video is fantastic! My 13 year old son (mostly him) and I replaced the headlight assemblies on my ‘04 today. We could not remove the clips mentioned at 4:55, but found that a person from underneath could press the bottom of the clip up into the slot on the truck while the person standing in front of the truck with the headlight pushed it into place. Worked great!

    Great quick video. Got my service bulletin for my 2008 F150 4.2 the other day ( just kidding ) that the Headlight Assembly s/b replaced every 300,000 miles or sooner. Just bought mine, truck is at 310,000 miles now. Truck should go faster with lesser wind resistance ( haha ), still better than a Tesla any day.

    Thanks for the video. Bought some TYC replacement modules. Hope it goes as smoothly. Would have liked if you showed the difference after installing the first new module.

    That truck looks pretty nice for what you called a “beater”.

    Can you tell me how your headlights have held up? I bought replacements on Amazon and within a week the left assembly had water in it.

    Our 2005 F150 needs them too. It’s been a good truck. 254k on her now.

    Good video, I need to do this. Any need to aim the headlights or do they come already set up and aimed?

    • @417fox
      @417fox  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I didn’t have to re aim

      @@417fox thanks. I am wondering if the LEAd versions are worth it or if I should just install a direct replacement.

    Can you tell us how the light pattern and output is with these particular housings compared to say the stock headlights?

    Have an 05 with only 120k miles. Getting it repainted and no I know I can replace the headlights.
