    2005 Ford F-150. Thank you very much...ordered parts and install took less than two hours for my son and even after forgetting the hands free microphone the first time. Used the butt-to-butt connectors instead of soldering. Great video and clear precise description. Radio even has more 'kick' with the factory speakers. 5 Stars!!!

    That mounting kit sucks. Had mine break off the other day. The Kenwood stereo I have is heavy and broke the plastic mount. It should be made of metal and not plastic. You did exactly what I did when installing the radio. Dumb that we have to cut off the back pieces for the F150

    • @ProvoBeastAudio

      You most likely have the wrong harness adapter. There are a few variables there of why it's doing that, but without knowing the year, trim, radio, and adapter parts, hard to diagnose your issue.

    So what if you were a big dumby and somewhere along the way forgot to not start the truck with the airbag light unplugged and now you have a light on the dash 😂 now what 😢

      Did you try unhooking the battery for a while and then hooking it back in?

    What colour did you put for key 2 steering wheel controls

    • @ProvoBeastAudio
      @ProvoBeastAudio  ปีที่แล้ว

      We used a brand name radio, so there won’t be a key 1 or key 2 in our harness. It depends on your radio, and which harness you are using.

    Does it have to be 6.75in or will 7in work as well?

      Screen size is irrelevant, as the dash kit accommodates any standard sized double din. Generally the biggest screen in dash for a double din is 7", anything bigger migrates over to the float mount screen style which will still work. So yes, a 7" will work fine.

      @@ProvoBeastAudioI ordered the same stuff using your links so hopefully you got the referral money but I have no idea where to run the USB. I didn’t see anything behind the radio

    • @ProvoBeastAudio
      @ProvoBeastAudio  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@XXxxMULLINSxxXX We flush mounted the USB in the front bezel below the heating and air controls. If the radio you have doesn't have a rear USB input, then no action required. If it does, and you don't want to flush mount it, you can run the USB cable into the glove box.
