I have been suffering from depression for 9 years now but this year I realized that I could never better the way I felt about life, myself and others without a connection to my inner self. I discovered yoga and I started my journey to reconnect with myself. I think it's saving my life. You are a beautiful soul and you did here changes my perspective every single day... thank you from the bottom of my heart dearest Simon

I met Simon in Rishikesh at the International Yoga Festival, he is a truly inspirational guy. He carries such an honesty, inquisitiveness and almost infectious compassion that I felt honoured to be in the presence of. One day I hope to meet him again, to train with him, to learn from him. Until then, I find this video epitimises his character, his philosophy and, what I believe is, the core meaning of Yoga.

+Paula Andrea Vahos - thank you so much - i appreciate what you have said - there is so much fancy posture 'yoga' in the world - and i can still do some 'fancy' poses, but they are so transitory, generally much easier when you are youger too - as you get older you really start to feel that there are much more important things in life and yoga - posture is such a small part of real yoga - living in love and sharing that love is much more important

Strength in gentleness, gentleness in strength.. a graceful bodhisattva dear Simon. You've inspired me to love my body more so that I may truly help others. And to love my body means to understand it, to care for it, and to move it daily - even if it's for a little. I've made an intention to study anatomy (David Keil's book is on its way), as well as, pranayama, and I plan to take your online courses. I've made an intention to learn from you in the teacher training in Goa, Sydney is fairly distant from Dubai and requires stronger will power :), in 2016 or perhaps 2017. I've made an intention to learn from one of your students in the meantime in Dubai or Abu Dhabi. I've also made an intention to apply what I learn every day, on the mat and more importantly off the mat. Now it's time to practice and make these intentions a reality for myself. Thank you for sharing this wonderful collaboration Simon & Alessandro and a load of gratitude to all the wonderful teachers who've passed this wisdom through the ages. Keep filming & yoga on!

Simon - we did it! 5 months later and happy to call you Teacher. Thanks for a truly fantastic learning experience in Goa with Bianca. I see it as a 1 month investment in my mental, physical, physiological and spiritual well being. Time to build my own practice with a strong foundation in Yoga Synergy! For the record, my belly is getting more and more relaxed by the day. Look forward to baby belly comparisons next time we meet (and also to see what other new tricks you've picked up i.e., evolution :p). Please send my love to Bianca, Eva & the Family back home.. your little brother. T
