If anyone ever says this match’s name to me I will burst into unrelenting tears. I wanted Rick to win so bad even though Scathat is so cool but truly the only sad thing in this match is that one of them had to lose.
The real winner is the audience. Cause holy shit we got an amazing week filled with bangers...
I hope Rick wins just cause I think he's more of a fun character, but scathat is filled with amazing pulls and he had the best solo track this week so I don't blame people for wanting him to move forward...

Pre-Results:Going into this match, I had a lot on the line with this being my favorite tournament character, but felt confident. The solos only cemented my confidence, with some even discussing a stomp. Then the phases dropped and while I'd argue Dansen especially has a lot of Scathat centric pulls, it does seem that many undecided voters felt swayed to Rick by the match tracks. This has made me somewhat nervous, especially as we know more voters are waiting til the last phase than ever, but I think ultimately I see enough signs of Scathat support that they will ultimately take it. Before that, I just wanna say thank you to Vincent, Gnirob, TVGhost, and Fenzo for bringing such an incredible character to life.

Good game, everyone. I know I was fighting a losing battle, but I didn’t think it would be THIS steep of a difference. I get Rick is a decisive character, but Lord up Heaven, guys. I get it though, Scatman & Hatman are a really fun character, and I love them a lot too. I’m not too mad, but I’m really sad that Rick had to drop like this. Here’s to him doing better in LR2M3. THE TRUMPET! SCATHAT VICTORY! Glad to see these results, these two are seriously so good and this match as a whole was phenomenal, one of the best matches in the tournament period, up there with Darkie and Mad/eon to be honest. Though I am happy to see these results, I am at shock with the vote difference, I was expecting a MUCH closer %, 57.5 to 42.5 is very surprising, I didn’t vote for Rick but this match really made him shine, I am a bit upset with the difference, should have been a bit closer, but this really shows how POWERFUL Scathat is, I honestly think that Lou and John will sweep this side of the bracket, there’s no way that these two aren’t going to be at least in the top 8. In a corner with Rick, Forum and Neil, Scatman and Hatman triumphed, glad to see it and they more than earned this victory’s, it’s insane that between Neil and Rick, which are powerful in themselves, Scathat beat both with a good vote difference. Also Ricks loss icon is excellent.

pre-results: honestly it was just going to be a direct scatman and hatman vote, but honestly rick's match hype track actually had me roped. then NTR dropped and it made me genuinely reconsider voting against him. dansen just made that a lot more obvious. eventually, after some pondering, i went and stuck with scatman and hatman. i wouldn't be surprised if one side gets a big margin of votes against the other, but i think 53.2-46.8 sounds more reasonable in favor of scathat.

Pre Results: I think Origami track said a lot and I've said this before but I don't think Rick should be hated for that one C*m zone track. I've been doing pretty good this round, Farquaad and NN were my only losses (and even then NN vs PD was VERY close for me). Not as invested in the next two rounds, but I'm gonna root for MM5 and Dio.

I'm working the same job I worked back when the Neil Geico results happened. It's gotten more complicated and more issues pop up relating to how government and credit cards handle adult content on the internet.
