FASTEST ROCKET BIKE 1/4 Mile World Record - Eric Teboul - Santa Pod

Eric Teboul sets a new world record by hitting 290 mph in 4.976 seconds in his liquid hydrogen peroxide rocket bike. This run supposed to be his test run, and he ran out of fuel before the finish line and coasted over the gantry at 290 mph.

I've been lucky to have seen this incredible man with his amazing machine a few times. Hes now retired. I dought there will be another like him for a long time, if ever again. Thank you Eric you truly have earned legend status.

This was his last ever run on the bike....What a way to finish! It means that Santa Pod is now the venue for both 2 wheel and 4 wheel (Sammy Miller) world quarter mile records.

Well funny you should mention it since my dad is a big fan of the sport he knows plenty of the people there and that the bike does not have a break they put in just enough to do the run but if they put too much it won't stop

Most rocket vehicles are banned these days. Think Eric is about the only one and only does demonstration laps in Europe. Europeans are much more open to things that are out of the ordinary.
