Hey, y'all. Wanted to correct: the lower grille cools the lower radiator so it is indeed functional. As for the mpg, yes I averaged 10, but keep in mind I was: 1) accelerating as quickly as possible from red lights. Every. Single. Red. Light. 2) holding the car to high rpms...a lot 3) stabbing the throttle to pass people to show off the car. 4) possibly an impromptu drag race went down, tho I'm not telling. I test drove it yesterday. The car is definitely fun to drive. What a machine. Also the handling is amazing. For a big four door I was definitely impress from the raw power that it has. It seems smaller than the 6.1 liter V8.
I didn't have to do any math. I just reported what was on the computerized mpg screen. I set it to zero when I picked up the car and when I was done with it my overall mileage was 10 mpg. I don't like it either, y'all. -Emme@RoadflyTV

I just test drove an 07 300 SRT8 with 89,000 miles. I think they change the mileage because the front shucked at 100 mph the brake peddle was showing metal and the diff was loose. That thing would ball the tires at less than 25% throttle. It only had 425 hp. Damn 470 hp? OMG.
I don't understand why you guys are bashing her. . She is giving a nice, modest opinion. A realistic view, and review of the car. I personally didn't watch the Viper video for a long time because I saw her on it, but once I did I actually learned she is knowledgeable, and not biased.
I'm gonna be that guy. Does the rear spoiler truly add downforce? I thought most spoilers only reduced drag by preventing air from getting turbulent at the rear. They don't usually add downforce like a wing. After all, downforce would hurt fuel economy, right? (check out the wikipedia on spoilers)
That little rant on size was funny, but also brought up an interesting trend. I'm a 6'8" man, and this is one of the few remaining cars I can drive without resting my elbows on my knees. With all the small cars they make today, it's nice to know that some cars will still let me drive without slouching and accidentally hitting controls with my knees (actually happened once). Overall, though, nice review!
I had a 2005 dodge ram 1500 single cab short bed with the 4.7 liter magnum.I averaged about 12mpg .That just doesn't make sense to me.What is the deal with the crappy fuel mileage in dodge?
Awesome review Emme, this is a huge car, the size of this car is compared to a BMW 7 series and an Audi A8, my brother in law is like 6 foot 5 and he loves the Chrysler 300c and I think this car is his "weird cousin who does not get out of the gym" Keep it up!
I hit 15.4 with the regular 5.7. It sounds so sweet when on the cam. Unlike most modern V-8s the Hemi's a tad soft on the bottom that makes you want to rev it more.
What the doors have to do with Muscle. It's about the engine which in metric system has more torque than hp 637Nm, so the car feels very good, immediate acceleration, instant throttle response

well one those MPG caculator screen is not the most accurate thing in the world, and two if you let the car run idle alot while filming this could also cause it. Like I said I do ALOT of hard acclerating, I almost need new tires @ 7k on the car and drive a decent amount of city driving. And I have never gotten less than 15 MPG, now the previous SRT8 with the 6.1 sometimes would get like 12-13. However with the MDS on the 6.4 my miledge since I bought this vehicle is 18.5, caculated on fuelly.com
He might have a Charger that's getting 29mpg, but it's not an SRT then. Trust me, I've owned a 2012 for nearly two years, and the best I've seen has been 24mpg on cruise control.
S4 is a great car, but smallish for tall drivers. The Charger is a BIG full sized car that just happens to be fast and handle. It's more fun from a dig as well, but the Audi is more refined. If you're 6'3 the Audi feels too small. They're two very different ways to have fun.
Because not everyone enjoys riding in tiny cars... Because some people have families and the Charger is the perfect blend of performance and practicality... Because not everyone likes what you like. To each his own.
I don't think you guys know how to do math. 10 MPG...I find it hard to believe ANYbody drives their car harder than me. My ride is just strictly use for hard driving and fun driving (lots of throttle) and never use for a cruise and the worst MPG I got was an average of 16.
Yea I personally think the SRT8 gets pretty good gas miledge. I mean on the highway it averages 25 MPG...I mean if you watch my channel by no means do I drive lightly, and I never got under 15 MPG so how they got 10 MPG is beyond me, has to be bad math.
So she weighs all of what 120-130lbs and has to open the door all the way.... why? In a tight parking space you wont be able to open it that far. Also here in Florida at least the only reason for a parking brake is if you have a stick (no hills). At least sport mode holds gears. Is she really worried about 10 mpg? I bet her grandfather drove a Lincoln Continental MK III that only did 3.5 mpg at WOT back in the 60's and not a fuck was given. If you can afford a 50k car then you can afford the gas, maintenance and insurance.
Don't do a review if you don't like the interior. I love the interior and the car on the out side is better looking than any of your foreign cars! The Charger is way cooler than any sedan on the road!
I test drove a 2013 in red, had me in the office to sign and buy but the wife put the brakes on it, right when I picked up the pen. The car is awesome. Even put on the cooled seats when I didn't expect it, salesman was like "U feel that??" Anyways great car

Unfortunately the 6.4L in the new SRT lineup cannot be tuned yet, nobody has been able to crack the ECU code so now tunes and no superchargers, etc.
