Dear Anika Nilles drummer, I live in Korea. You are the drummer that my beloved daughter admires and likes the most. It's the same for me. my daughter going to prepare for various competitions and entrance exams with your great songs next year. she only a middle school student now, but I will live dreaming of the day when I will be on stage with you one day in the future. Please look forward to it.
I saw Jeff Beck in San Jose just before he passed away. Madame Niles was on the drums----killing it. I had known of her and her efforts but, after that show, not only did I appreciate Jeff Beck so much more, I found myself delving face-first into the music of Anika Niles. Thank you so much for you, ma'am. I am honored to have witnessed your prowess with multiple senses in real time.
THE MOST 'DECENT AND THE EVER.....EVER............EVER......AND FOR EVER THE BEST AND GREATEST LEAD FEMALE DRUMMER IN THIS UNIVERSE....................
Anika you are the best I have ever heard male or female..You are unbelievable...I wake up every morning and go to youtube to listen to you to get my day started..
you are plain and simple yet your drumming is the coolest ever.. i just love everything in your drumming plus the amazing music just so woooooww! the best drummer of all - anika :) watching your vids since last year and your music and drum styles still always gets my heart ;) -love from philippines
Clean and sharp technique, listenable Composition! Beautiful and spectacular filming! Beautiful girl! I could be the whole day watching this video! Amazingness! Anika this is your time!
This is a video I will watch for the rest of my life for inspiration! It is a touch of genius here and much passion/ unbelievable control and sense of purpose! Heart mind and soul! Everything came together on this song! For me like the greatest of all songs and performances, A source of inspiration!
Ich lhabe dich von , anfang an geliebt. Herzlichen. Glūckwunsch zu Ihrer arbeit ok! Ich bin Fan. Lora, du spielst Viel Mit dieser batterie. I'm from Brazil baby obrigado mais uma vez.
Do I detect a smaal portion of Jeff Porcaro and Simon Phillips in your style and playing ? The music is right up their alley and you are just as tight and precise in your timing and beat I like
The Feels that this woman has.....fuck. She's just got this very sensual rhythm. And im not just talking about watching her, though there certainly is that. It's just ...just close your eyes and listen to it. You can feel the Her in it. Just an awesome way of projecting. Superior in it's emotive energy.
You have to give the band sooo much credit..they are great...her playing is really great too...BUT no dbble bass fills leaves one lacking.....so much room for some sweat fills with this kind of music...get a DOuble Pedal woman !! ha ha ...
YOu're entitled to your opinion. she has sooo much mic attack low end on her studio recorded floor tom tom it sounds like a kick drum. those fills would not sound so great without effects and mic's...... no double kick= boring.
Just curious - why would you rather call this 7/4? Seems to me like this is a 7/8 beat at around 95 bpm, rather than a 7/4. Mostly because it seems to cut off the beat off at the end of it, rather than simply omitting the last of the stronger snare hits (that I'd consider quarter notes) .
Totally forgot I wrote that...it was late, I was confused. In hindsight I'd go with 7/8! I think at the time I was thinking 7/4 with a half time feel...which basically equates to the same thing, but 7/8 makes more sense.

4:37 best part
Giacomo Carcano To quote Jimmy Carr: "Well, you can fuck off!"
🤡🤡🤡🤡
I am trying to dig the Tama sound...just can't get there. The Mapex sounded so much better. Still love your playing. Amazing gift you have.
You have to give the band sooo much credit..they are great...her playing is really great too...BUT no dbble bass fills leaves one lacking.....so much room for some sweat fills with this kind of music...get a DOuble Pedal woman !! ha ha ...
T. Theo she honestly, doesn't need one. Have you seen her foot. She's not just a drum Solo machine and ain't in a Metal band. So why?
YOu're entitled to your opinion. she has sooo much mic attack low end on her studio recorded floor tom tom it sounds like a kick drum. those fills would not sound so great without effects and mic's...... no double kick= boring.
T. Theo I think double bass is boring, over used and overrated.
love the spaces....
DB pedal on single drum fills are way over done now and getting real old today and boring !!
ask them to use 24fps
Szzz
7/8 ?
7/4 :)
