Freezing of Gait Research

Freezing of Gait causes significant problems with mobility and often falls that can trigger transition to nursing home care. My team have been very active in this important field and hopefully our work will bring improvements to the lives of patients.

Hi, can freezing of gait also happen with generalised dystonia, which I have now been diagnosed with over and above cauda equina syndromes. My freezing is intermittent and also increases when I turn where I'm more at risk and catch myself where I can with two sticks!
