Mystery Boxes from Walmart aren't always the greatest but I still love watching them being opened. I do enjoy the ones that come with the pins. At least those are cool. I feel like you're only gonna get $15 back 😢

I randomly decided to buy a 25th anniversary box from Target. I was shocked when I pulled a Jinzo, Curse of Dragon, and another super rare. Never had that good of luck before.

I think you get back 48 bucks. Mystery from Walmart never gets you full value.
I have had great luck with the Chaos Boxes. I’ve actually gotten 1st edition Stardust Overdrive booster packs from them several times. Those packs are worth like $70 each. You definitely get more than $25 worth of value from the packs unopened even with just the unlimited stuff. A typical box has a Mega Pack from 2014-2019, most the ones I’ve opened have been 2018 worth $15-$20, then you get a legacy pack like Blue Eyes white dragon or Invasion of Chaos, worth $10-$20, then you get unlimited packs like Duelist Alliance, Stardust Overdrive, and Dimension of Chaos. So if you just buy the boxes and don’t open the packs, you are getting extremely great value. Of course I can never do that and end up opening them but I’ve had a bunch of great pulls including ultimate rares and ghost rares, plus I’ve pulled Chaos Emperor Dragon secret rare from invasion of chaos, thousand dragon and solemn judgement from Metal Raiders, and some other great stuff including the very first one I ever opened that I actually bought at Walmart the once time I’ve seen them there, Blue Eyes Toon Dragon from Spell Ruler! I’ve been buying them on Amazon for $25 each.
@@stephensniff yea but you know how unlikely that is you got extremely lucky like you probably don't even understand how lucky you got because I've bought plenty and gave up because they're a complete scam. They wouldn't make a mystery box to give out more then the box is worth or they wouldn't do it at all. Bottom line it's a scam if you get lucky it's probably like a 1 out of a 100 type thing. Not worth it
I pulled a jinzo from psv from a mystery cube recently, only good card from it.
I held back last time I saw some mystery boxes but now I gta go back and get em. Hopefully you get your value back!

I would guess you get close to half back. As for mystery packs, I feel like these are always better in theory than in practice. On that note, just ordered my ruxin mystery pack! Can't wait to get it!

I like opening Walmart stuff occasionally for fun, but I’d say you get around a $40 return. Fun, but I’ve never gotten any crazy hits.

9:48 Damn, that Cacoon of Evolution is a hard card to pull from MRD. I have opened over 20 packs of the 2010-2017 reprints and haven’t pulled 1 and have opened 75 packs of the 25th anniversary and have pulled only 1.

It's funny that you say you see FLOD a lot and seem to see FIGA every time somehow. I've only ever seen them a handful of times. About as many times as I've seen MACR which isn't that frequently (despite what you might think when I say I've pulled two Ash from them - ironically one from a cube that actually featured Ash as an implied random which you know is never happening).
A lot of the packs in ones I've bought that weren't the point of buying them are CYHO. Really seems like they have like 95% of the stock of CYHO unlims just sitting in their warehouse.

This thought popped into my mind when you opened the Dimension of Chaos pack. Am I the only one that doesn't like guaranteed foils in every pack now? Back in the day it was cool if you pulled a super. Nowadays I feel like supers are just bulk.

I remember buying all 7 mystery boxes in stock, spender about $500 and only got a total of $300 of cards valued, however I did pull some awesome ones like a secret rare tri-horned dragon and invader of darkness, and two skill drain’s!

they're never fun, the entire point of them is to get rid of unsold product, meaning 99% of the time you're getting unwanted packs.
30% ROI on retail is around what I think, hope you make 100$ back!

Personally I think that the pin boxes are the coolest out of all of these.tge value id decent and the pins are pretty cool and unique insteda of just adding more packs sleeves etc
