Honestly, if you're buying this as a new player needing some supplies and whatnot, this is great value. But if you already are deep into playing and have all this stuff, then it aint worth. That being said, the fact that this is legit getting your money back and then some, this is super rad.
A couple of booster packs thrown in the box as well wouldn't have hurt. Cool for young kinds who are getting into the game for the first time. You've got everything you need in one box.
A couple of booster packs throw in wouldn't hurt? It kinda does money wise for them just to throw in random packs. You've already got everything you need in one box already. The playmat, the deck box, the card sleeves, the portfolio, and a deck. Your all set. Plus the whole box costs $28 and the value you get back is $44 so its very good value and an all-in-one for a yugioh beginner. No extra packs needed surprisingly.
As an old school yugi-boomer $25 for a mat deck box and sleeves is a pretty great value. Most mats retail for more than that!

This is the 1st time they made anything that guarantees some value. Getting a good deck means definitely value back.
Not the most exciting for pack openers or mystery enthusiasts. And not something you would buys a bunch of either. But buying a couple is really good
I work at Walmart and I noticed they put the clearance structure decks in the mystery boxes. So its probably Blue Eyes, Crystal Beast, Albaz, Dark World, Traptrix and Cyber Dragon. They should atleast add the lite packs. Good for a new player though
The binder playmat deck Box and sleeves you can pick up for £29 approximately $23 and the structure deck is about £10 approximately $7 would be better if they had packs and a giant card too. Great video thanks Ruxin.
Honestly this product is good for beginners because i remember trying to find the materials to play the TCG and everything was mainly sold separately and expensive
Yeah that is a UK structure deck our boxes have got smaller over the years, probably to reduce packaging. These boxes are okay, not the best for experienced players but good for new players, and actually worth their money at least :)

i personally think this is one of THE BEST NEW PLAYER PRODUCTS mj holding has ever released. is it all good quality, no. is it good value? debatable. but does it give a brand new player everything that you would want them to have for the first time playing and learning the game. ABSOLUTELY! a brand new player having sleeves, a deck box, binder, and structure deck to learn the game with is a total win. and the fact that the whole thing is ONLY 25$ usd i think its a perfect product to gift someone you are trying to get to learn the game.
Monster boxes sound like a good way to get people in and give em a taste of the gambling entailed

I guess its cool for people starting out, and their structure deck products tend to be better than investing in packs anyway. Still some packs would've been nice
Yo, regarding 9:17: The CE label is neccessary for selling (most) products in the EU (regarding safety, health and so on), but since UK left the EU, they needed their own label, which is the UKCA label (UK Conformity Assessed). So this is basically just a Euro EN print.
I got this last night and got an Albaz/Tri brigade playmat, traptrix deck, hero fusion sleeves, same portfolio, and Lubellion deck box
This monster box is definitely the best one for my opinion, definitely good for anyone who’s new to yu-gi-oh, although it’s a shame I couldn’t find any monster box at my local walmart, which either they’re hard to get through, or if they’re released only in the US.
If you go back dark world didn’t have the UK/US logo on the back of the box where the 2nd structure deck does I’ll have to assume that’s how you can tell the euro print
The product itself isn't that bad for the value, but only if you need accessories. Maybe a couple of packs thrown inside wouldn't be that bad replacing for example the deck box or the sleeves
I just got into the TCG, and bought this. It works for me. I just wish the play mat had the zones on it, because I'm still learning them...
I do like the accessories, would've liked to see some packs but the structure deck content aren't bad. A mat and a binder to start off a collection would be nice for a new player
Yeah they could have add some booster packs in there. Best part of these products are the randomness of not knowing what you will get. I could have just buy the accessories separately instead of this box.
I’ve seen these at my local Walmarts, they haven’t been selling at mine, been wanting to pick one up for just the playmat. Looks like I should pick 1 up after seeing this
My only complaints are that there are no booster packs and that it seems like you get mostly the same contents every time. That said, it seems like you're guaranteed a decent value for the price, so it could be worth getting a few of these for a good supply of mats, deck boxes, etc. for not too much money (or just one if the lack of variety between boxes bothers you).
Nice accessory box I’d have to say the playmat is my favourite as my son loves the elemental heroes
I really wish they'd stop pushing 50ct sleeves. It feels a lot like hot dog buns and hot dog packages where you have to buy an additional pack of buns because they aren't equal. A standard deck has 40 cards with a 15 card extra deck and a 15 card side deck. So 80 sleeves are what people need to fully play the game. I don't care if they charge more, but I want enough sleeves for my entire deck.
50ct sleeves? Come on man, they should provide 100. 40-60 card main, 15 card extra. Although I think the deal is okay enough, especially if you wanted a bit of a surprise with what deck and accessory themes you want. Feels like these Wal-Mart packs might start trending in the right direction.
Great product for beginners, they could have added a few booster packs so that you can start filling the portfolio
I think its a great item, even for players whonare already invested. 25 bucks you get a spare binder and mat as a back up or a spare

These monster boxes are pretty cool, it comes with decently included stuff. If they added some booster packs then it wouldn't be as bad!

these are actually really solid products, if someone wanted to get a gift for a kid who plays yugioh then these would not be bad, you cant real go wrong with getting a more sleeves, deckboxes or binders.
These are kinda cool. I think if they included at least a few packs it would've helped entice people into buying them more.
My favorite hero mat ive seen at my locals is neos fighting kaijus that invaded skyscraper with the hero signal in the sky

Well, the insides of the box aren't a mistery at all, but the value is quite nice. I'm not a Hero fan but the products are still cool. I would've liked a couple packs in there as well, but it's pretty good for a new player so he can get a nice starter set!
Its definetly a good way to get a kid to get into the game, with the base essentials. Definitely not a product I would purchase, but i can see the use it has
would that hurt to put there booster pack . the math looks decent and the kuriboh sleeves looks in my eyes fenomenaly. i bought deck box last month and it comes handey.

It’s not a bad starter box for someone wanting to get started with more than home tables, even if it’s just a way to move unsold accessories

I wish we had these weird third party boxes/ packs here in Australia. They don't see like good value, but seems like a pretty fun thing to open haha
I mean the mystery component is what makes these not worth it. Just buy the sleeves, game mat or structure deck you want. I agree thought the hero game mat is lame.

I used to collect Yu-Gi-Oh as kids and started watching you I collect poke big time but wanted to collect something else and I just bought some Yu-Gi-Oh boxes to open waiting for them in the mail so thanks for the great content and getting me back in it

That playmat was actually my first one lol and I really enjoy the art for it, exactly what I expected for elemental hero tbh, its a good way to get a lot of different cards on there
Gosh, wish I had something like this in my country. My local shops have such accessories, sure. But they are pretty much limited stock and not every shop has each item (e.g. shop has sleeves but no playmat) As another comment said, this Monster Box is a good way to get some stuff as a beginner.

Well this is weird, but still better than when they put "garbage" packs in the box. Plus is a really good starter set for a new Yu-Gi-Oh player. Playmat, sleeves and a starter deck...let's gooo to a starter tournament. :)

I thought this product was weird. I like when you can get a deck or packs with some sleeves. I hate the binder because with the sleeves the cards kind of stick out of the slots in the binder and overlap. The price is a bit much. This is like a 5/10 for me.
I think this is good for someone who is getting into dueling or someone getting back into dueling (me 😅). I think it's worth buying.
Did we found out if there are any other accessories in box?. I do like the magician kuriboh sleeves but that’s about it.

So basically all the stuff I've been seeing hanging on the shelves for the past 6 months is now bundled to make room for the new yugi and kaiba stuff. I'd imagine there are a fair amount of these with God, Blue Eyes, and Crystal beast structure decks in em.
Funnily enough, I really love the square cardart layout. Crisp, clean, classic. I'm hoping for a DM archetype mat with that layout one day! Instead we got the "custom art scene" DMG and it's just cringe Instead of clean.
This is perfect for someone who needs the accessories for their cards and prob not gonna be re-purchased a lot from those players

it’s an awesome product for someone just starting out on their yugioh duelist journey or can’t afford to purchase everything individually i opened one and did the math on everything the total value of everything i got was $47 so it’s definitely good for budget players plus it would make a super cool gift as well!
