Good review. I'd be interested to know if you have used the Bushnell Mobile app and whether it makes the Bushnell models compatible with the app any more worthy of a purchase. Rangefinders are great when you can see the pin, the GPS/ mobile app provides hole overview as well as distance to the green when the pin is not visible
The Bushnell app is solid as a GPS, but honestly I haven't found any pairing/integration with rangefinders to add any additional usefulness outside of just being a decent standalone GPS app.
I just bought the v5 shift (after watching many of your videos). I had a bushnell without slope for many years and was now looking for slope. How would you compare the v6 shift to the v5 shift? I got the v5 shift because I was able to save $70 because it was an outgoing model
How does your Pro X3 fit in the magnetic rangefinder pocket on your Vessel Player IV pro? That’s the one thing I’m worried about, that the beefiness with make it a tight fit
I've been using a Bushnell Pinseeker Pro 1600 for past 12 years without any issues. This thing built like a tank, crystal clear optics and locks on target instantly. In the market to upgrade my range finder. Any Pro X3 users like to comment on the accuracy of the temperature and barometric pressure feature? Is it worth the extra bucks or just a hype?
I’ve had the x3 since this winter, I play collegiate golf in the Midwest so spring golf is perfect for the x3. The elements does actually make a difference, like he said it is only a few yards at most, but sometimes that’s the difference between clubs. It is a very cool feature but I think it only makes a difference for good players that have that sort of control over their distances. The slope with elements was just another cherry on to as to why I went with the x3. I love the 7x and the display is perfect. I also really prefer the bigger and beefy feel to it.
I’m currently in the market for my first range finder. Does the tour v6 shift have much advantage over the tour v5 with shift other than ipx6 and the red indicator once it locks on the flag?
As I've made 2 range finder mistakes 1 precision pro , 2 shot scope, and both have really bad not clear optics no digital screen and terrible zoom have to hit the button 5 times to pick up the flag. I wish I would of actually went to a store and tested them
Head to head I'd give the nod to the V6 Shift. Primary reason for that is because the pin lock/vibration is more accurate and useful. Otherwise, optically they're pretty similar and I do really like the usability of the NX10. But Apples to Apples, price not a consideration I'd probably go V6 Shift. But for an extra $100+, the NX10 is definitely the better value.
is the v6 shift exactly the same just without slope? as someone who doesn’t want slope as you can’t use slope in comps am thinking off just buying the v6?
Is the jolt factor actually better than the pro X3? Im looking at buying one of these and want to know if the X3 is actually hard to lock onto flags. Thanks in advance!
No the x3 is not hard to lock onto flags at all, it’s fantastic. I just found that the actual “jolt” function seemed to be slightly more consistent on the v6. But price aside, the x3 s one of, if not the best rangefinder on the market.
I was waiting for it all video but it was never covered... What about changing yards to metres and vixe versa?? Does it have a quick toggle switch or is it something fiddly to setup?
Oooh both excellent. But I'd prob go with V6 Shift. The X2 may have been my favorite looking Bushnell rangefinder ever, but thats two generations back at this point. The V6 Shift, should be just a little bit better at most things.
i just lose my pro xe.... I was plan to buy x3.... but watching reviews... im going to buy v6 pro xe,x3 is too heavy and not worth it paying that much $
Your video is extremely high quality and was exactly what I wanted
sold me with this review..went on Ebay and got a mint condition V6 shift for $280🙏❤🔥
Nice, enjoy!
Rock solid review, as always. Thank you for your time/effort.

Great review, I just purchased the V6 Shift today. Thanks.

Can you do a video on the new atlas rangefinder vs the bush bell x3 I’m inbetween them in what to order
What's the best range finder for someone who has to wear prescription glasses ?
Has anyone used the V6 shift and the Precision Pro NX10? After watching both this review and the one on the NX10 I am torn between the two.

Worth it over the V5 shift, considering price to performance ratio?
Looking to find this out as well.

Yes they are the exact same, the only difference is the slope feature.
Excellent video as always. 👏🏼
Have you had a chance to use or review the Omaha Atlas Rangefinder?

“High quality plastic” 🤣
BREAKINGEIGHTY does not work on Nx10
It doesn’t work in the plain white one. It only works for one of the custom sleeve models. Trying to get them to update that.
