He couldn't even do it back in 1997 on the live record. They cut out the entire end of Phil & dime alternating, and the high parts he couldn't hit during the regular song he just screamed. I don't see any reason why they couldn't do it now
@@metalben005 it was a part of the formula that made the band. when he messed his back up it would ultimately be the loose thread that unraveled it every drop of everything was left on stage after they played.
I saw them a while ago in PCB, phil sounded great especially the screams and stuff (a new level, mouth for war and becoming were incredible, like just as good as the record honestly) but they didnt try to do cemetery gates, and id say its def because he cant hit some of those highs like he use to. That being said great show def recommend
@@JWT27101 its definitely on the to do list. almost got to see them at met life. just heard about it too late. and he absolutely cant hit those notes in cemetary gates. if they did the 101 proof live version he can still do it that way but it loses that rob halford element that made the record version

he can scream his guts out still but he hasnt been able to hit those highs since the late 90s and his range has dropped a good amount since too.
