You make an excellent point about GW. It's almost like the IN-accessibility is a plus (not throwing shade, it's just a different medium). Brent from Goobertown Hobbies did a great video recently on how 40k isn't for casual players. A solid reccomended watch from me.
@@HairyNick All hobbies with long life spans usually have a little bit of gate keeping. Its what separates them from fads. Usually when they change the model they start to lose in the long term stability for accessibility when they alter rules or provide easier entry. Its a quick boost of money and engagement but people get bored and usually move on. My biggest concern with the X-Wing Alliance is that they didn’t feel the need to contact the X-Wing Legacy 2.0 community organisers and have them involved. I would have hoped any kind of organisation like that would be a kind of umbrella for all editions. There’s potential here to get all players, regardless of ruleset playing under the same roof. That could then lead to a unified ruleset… or maybe not, but that’s fine too.
Yes I'm aware of this situation. A few of the people involved are already having these conversations in mine and the various Discords. It's early days so I won't say anything more to it yet, but yes, I do hope there is a willingness to at least communicate.
Local scene died as 2.5 was instigated. Was really bad as we had a great local community, not FLG run. With the news I'm trying to bring the community back. We will adopt 2.0 legacy and hopefully get the squad back involved. Keep up the great work Nick, great to have you back!
I'm in a similar boat, sadly. Annoyingly it seems the bulk of our local players have moved on to other games. A shame really, but I'm trying to get involved with local efforts for some infrequent Legacy gameplay. :)
Even if you think 2.5 is fine, we should still revert back to 2.0. 2.5 is simply a testament of how much AMG never cared for this game, and now they have given up and admitted defeat, then we should cast out their ideas since they themselves admit that they suck.
It's funny how i've heard quite a few content creators talk about 2.0 backlash in the third person, like "players were put off by the need to buy product to play the ships they already had", but i can't remember hearing anyone complain about that - not even these content creators. This only feels like some self-perpetuating myth. Either way, 2.0 was a well intentioned polishing that was very healthy for the game mechanics, while 2.5 was an unwanted and unnecessary dumbing down that was ill-willed and ill-advised from AMG, and sounded like "we're the bosses now, and this is how it's gonna go, you stupid nerds."
My only issue was forcing the app for points costs, but once I discovered they were releasing printable tables of all the points costs I jumped in. 2.0 is such a huge jump forward over 1.0 and I've always heard good things about it, it's definitely a self perpetuating myth.
Oh brother but do I have a you tube play list for you lol. There were tons of content creators that were particularly spicy about the 2.0 conversion. There was a LOT of tension over it. Personally I thought the conversion was generous and remarkably affordable and accessible for what you got and needed and funny enough, I like several of those complaining whale creators, my collection was also "excessive" to put it lightly😅
@@danteunknown2108 "Generous" is a great term to describe the conversion, it indeed absolutely was. Players could pick the conversion kits they wanted, and could even split it between them as there were multiples of everything. This still seems to me like a very acceptable cost to pay, in exchange for such a more refined version of the game - where other, perhaps more powerful companies, would have had players buy everything again. The only thing more accessible i can think of would have been "print-and-play" (e.g. if you had the miniature, printed cards and tokens would be legal), but i don't remember "print-and-play" being such a well-accepted model back then.
I feel like a lot of those voices were drowned out by the positivity of the 2.0 changes. Certainly had a handful of players in my local scene who dropped off seemingly just out of principle.
I *might* use 2.5 for some scenarios but really excited for the community carry on 2.0. My mate, who now has all my 1.0 cards, is also elated because there's a big part of the community that loves that. Now in (only really, until 25) the communities hands it could be the best it's been for years. Hope the second hand ship market doesn't get too expensive for new players. I'll be playing with my tiny ships with my mates having fun for years to come.Pew pew.
I say that as a casual player who loves the game and has all but the epic ships. Going forward for competitive, I wouldn't be able to give a knowledgeable opinion. Hoping for as much unity as possible of course becaise, well Pew Pew
From my reading of what AMG said, they haven't ruled out continued production of existing products. We will have to see how that works, as there are a lot of different set ups possible in terms of productions with no development, and how much is permitted with third party printing, proxy printing, and such. Worst case scenario is AMG stops all product manufacturing while aggressively stomping out any sort of third-party produced products, but that's not the only case and I doubt that as the third party production of tokens, dice and measuring gauges has been allowed already even when they use the specific icons from the game. Some sort of card proxies is going to happen, cardboard components have some complications but AMG/Asmodia has options for allowing the production without giving up larger copyright. The ships models are the biggest issue but as long as players are okay with models that just look close enough to understand that it's a proxy that's something that can be printed.
@@markmittelbach7975 Considering that one of the main reason AMG cited for stopping development was the production costs associated with pre-painted ships, it seems there is no chance that they will continue to produce any product. They could sell unpainted ships, but then they would be competing with 3D printed proxies which are widely available.
The addition of scenarios is a great part of 2.5, and I hope that we still see them in some "official" capacity moving forward. Maybe not as the premiere competative format, but still.
Hey nick, been cool to hear your thoughts on this :) it's great to hear that this is sparking hope From my personal perspective, I was almost out of the game and now feel like we can come back together and push it forwards :) I echo all of your statements about how we should all come together and play X wing. There is a lot of discussions to have about where we go and how to manage it and yes, eventually what does the game look like after AMG, 2.5 2.0 and everything. We are super excited and all feedback is appreciated
At the end of the day, the goal when playing any game is simply.......for players to want to play it again. So, do whatever you need to do in pursuit of that goal. For example, last week I went all the way back to 1.0 basics with my 10-yr-old son. And since he had previously been kinda "meh" about the game because of how complicated it can get when you build a tournament-legal list, each of us instead picked just a single ship with a couple of upgrade cards.....Now, HE has started asking ME to play the game again. 🙂
the great part of an analog game is that it doesn't die just cause they don't make the parts any more. it only dies when you stop playing it. and with today's 3D market you can get what ever parts you need if you look. ask Mordhiem players if they care that GW hasn't done anything for that game in decades. Most of them won't even go to GW if GW made new content for it. a game can become bigger than it's maker. Again see Mordhiem or D&D. both will outlive their companies if people keep playing them.
This kind of positivity is really welcome, and just as important (in general, but right now in particular) - so thank you! What you said about currently feeling better about the state of the game than you have in years reminds me of something I just heard in a recent Tabletop Minions video: He was talking about Mordheim, which hasn't been supported by Games Workshop for years at this point. He was celebrating how much engagement there was in the community with that game, with the hobby side of it, the tournaments, the events, etc. He said that his general impression from within that community was that it's largely agreed that if GW were to get involved again, it would only steer the whole thing back towards monetisation, to formalising changes that the community doesn't want, etc. But most importantly there's a sense that it now being fan owned (in a sense) means that it's fan-driven. Driven by love, rather than a company doing its business thing. And I love the sound of that as a possibility for X-Wing, too!
Creators like you remaining an ambassador for the game gives me incredible hope that this game will discover a new life like Mordheim has to throw it with the list of games you named. Great job, duder!
I don't think unity is necessary, or even desirable. After GW killed Epic 40k, the game survived for 20 years with three competing community created rulesets. Each of those groups would maintain the game rules and run tournaments/game nights for their favored version. In the end, one ruleset won the vast majority of players, but the important part was that this victor was decided by the players choosing their favorite version and not by a cabal of super-players deciding in secret which game everyone should play.
It really didn't though, it was basically dead universally. Only the people who held on to stuff played it and it was more like a board game with friends at your house. The same thing happened with BattleFleet Gothic and even Dreadfleet.
@@icholi88 Isn't X-Wing a "board game with friends at your house"? Not only were there third party manufacturers making Epic miniatures, but 3D print files were available early on. Sure, the player base wasn't as high as a top tier game but it was growing during the time GW wasn't even talking about it. Battlefleet Gothic was in a situation similar to where Armada is currently in. Not as big a player base and, with only one ruleset ever published, there was only one choice as to which set of rules to use.
While I appreciate that the game might survive best with more than one ruleset if that's what turns out to prove most harmonious, claiming that unity isn't desirable is WILD.
@@HairyNick There are currently tournaments scheduled for both 2.0 and 2.5, YASB supports all the rulesets, and fan projects like Hotac and Flight Group Alpha have already been converted. So, I don't see any pressing needs that require unity or a consensus. It seems that everything that needs to be done has been done.
@@HairyNick I'm with you on this. The notion that Group A and Group B are inherently in some competition for representation and there can be only one 'winner' is just...weirdly undertoned. Who even thinks this way in the context of games like Magic? A unified group can have multiple sub-groups that co-exist and respect what each other are doing, with people existing between multiple sub-groups as they wish because why can't or shouldn't they.
When X-Wing came out I knew it would be huge. I also knew miniature games built upon a current IP don't last very long. So I did not get involved. X-Wing has had a very good run for this type of product. When you look at it, what are they supposed to do? How many more Star Wars ships are there to make? Plus, as you said you can play this forever. Making new scenarios is part of the fun of these games.
There is a clear cutoff point as new content was releasing (movies and shows) that development of new ships ground to a halt. It was and is extremely noticable, the lack of Mando's N1 for a example is a clear gap in the range. Given also, we are starting to get content from a whole ner era in the saga, and the only minor smattering of EU content that wsa delved into by FFG in the early days, I would say the game feels far from complete.
I gotta say, I sold my collection when 1.0 ended. Bought new stuff on massive sale when 2.0 went to 2.5 and never transitioned. I saw the chance to make back the money I spent without gouging anyone so I just sold my x-wing collection to buy some of the last Armada stuff online at MSRP. I initially got into X-wing to scratch the Star Wars itch while I waited for Armada to come out, and unlike X-Wing I’ve been playing Armada since it released.
On the three different editions and how they become confusing, I've switched to calling it first edition, second edition, and the AMG edition. I find that to be a lot more clear than 2.5 and it skirts around having to debate if it's fair to call it a half or full edition. I'm going to need a bit more definition of what you mean by unity. Like unified to what, the models themselves? That's the only thing everyone had in common. Everyone's giving it the . There's no community where I'm at now. I built a good chunk of the first one before leaving for awhile, tried again in the second edition with no appreciable success like the first one, watched it all collapse again after AMG edition launched. I don't know what the point would even be to trying to start or support or attend it again here when I'm sure a town over they go a completely different route. It was hard enough at times to get folks interested in the official editions as they diverged and split. I seriously doubt it'll work for any of these long haul. I didn't think this is a situation like the other games that "survived" in community hands. But I'll still watch along out of sheer curiosity to see what happens.
I am in a similar boat. 2.5 basically killed all interest in competative play in the Melbourne area. For me, playing competatively in person means travelling interstate, and I'm happy to do that. Plus, tournaments can be played online these days. GSP successfuly ran some excellent ones during the Covid lockdowns.
@@HairyNick in a way I feel like the online sim play actually kind of hurt the game as well, was one of the symptoms leading to it's collapse. Once it got popularized over the pandemic times, it's kind of like well why would you even bother with the actual model version of the game? Why lug around all the stuff when you can just play virtually from home? And then once you know what you need from that you buy only what you need and never are buying a few of everything to experiment. All your experimenting was online. I remember inviting folks back to the store for games and they were just like nah, I'll just play on vassal or TTS or whatever they were. Tabletop gaming has a hard time surviving in the increasingly digital world as it is, even on a good day. Physical sprue models are up against 3D printing, and I guess pre painted models are up against pre-rendered wire frames. 🫤 At least the rules survive but the spirit feels changed
I think this would hit differently if I still played. Between idiocy in the local group and amg's mongoloid handling of the game has resulted in my ships being docked in storage these last several years. In fact there isn't even a local community anymore
It's a bad situation. I still play, but I don't know a single person who moved out of 1.0 so I'm imagining that the biggest community out there are the first edition owners - that's when the game blew up and sold in staggering numbers, 2.0 was a big downturn. If there was (and I realise there isn't) a way that people could play with the minis they own, across all editions, then that would be a win. Maybe it would need a unified, printable set of generic base cards, upgrades etc. Any serious attempt to keep the game alive must include the widest section of the community, which is inevitably those who own 1st ed. And I mean include in the sense of the minis, the ruleset can be 2.0/2.5, but it's the cards and base variances that 1st ed owners don't have and won't want or be able to buy.
@@LeeHobbies yup. Great thing about not having to follow the rules of a manufacturer is no longer needing official components. We are now in a situation where we could very easily incorporate any mini into any ruleset with no cost to the player. The dials is the most challenging aspect, but list building is super easy. Up to date obstacles and tokens can be bought 3rd party, but they arent necessary to build any particular list. So, actually, there very much is a realistic path to include players with 1.0 collections.
The upcoming X-wing alliance offers a lot of possibilities. Our limits are only set by our imagination and what people are willing to try. Being open benefits everyone involved. Who knows, people might even find a whole new favorite mode of game they never tried before.
While true, and I love the possibility, we are also limited somewhat by the fact that the game is in the hands of an IP holder (even if they don't produce it) so there is some legal technicalities for the XWA to navigate.
@HairyNick Hopefully any potential restrictions push them to be even more creative to reach goals. We have a LOT of smart, out of the box thinkers in the community to draw on so these are likely minor speed bumps.
I never transferred to 2.0, buying cardboard wich was very expensive, specially in my country, was to much to ask for a lot of my community, so the game kinda died there for us. We still play 1.0 some times
I had to update my x-wing 2.0 game is so good , still is . I’m actually excited to see what the community will do with the game , long as all are on same page of rules so to speak can’t wait! Can the community design & bring out new ships ?, that would be cool .
There's many steps to take first. COmmunity designed ships are a loooooong way away. If I had to guess earliest those conversations would even start is around 2026, sadly. But for the rulesset, yes. It's very exciting. :)
@@HairyNick really? theres never been anything holding player made ships back really and with the rise of 3d printing its open for more ships to be added.
@@kudosbudo It's not so much a matter of model availability or cardset printing as it is a matter of ensuring proper development, playtesting, and integration. FFG ran on a roughly 2-year cycle for development new products, and even then sometimes allowed things to fall through - look at the Nantex. Any community working to introduce new "product" is going to need to be veeeeeery cautious about how they proceeed.
Can we petition AMG for dials & cards for the Jedi T-6 , The Omicron attack Shuttle (bad batch & Mando's N-1? The community can 3-d print the ships & bases & AMG can make some quick money
@@HairyNick That would be cool. Also NECA bought Wizkids after Topps let heroclix die in 2008. NECA WK resurrected heroclix & it remains alive today. The only difference is that NECA doesn't have a Star Wars license right now or maybe ever in their history. IF anyone from the community could reach out to NECA at their San Diego Comi-con booth to mention that X-wing & Armada are open for a possible purchase perhaps they would be willing. Maybe WIZKIDS would like the idea to just make cards & the miniatures could be 3-D printed by the individuals to defray the costs.
@@HairyNick Here's my thoughts for these ships if I had my input in the process... I would imagine the Omicron Class Attack Cruiser with Tech or Omega piloting would have a Tech Turn Special K Turn & Shoot in System Phase for 2 charges with a 1" with a deplete token Mando's N-1 could have the same ST-70 special ability plus perhaps a booster like Poe Dameron's Ep8 T-70 X-Wing The Jedi T-6 reminds me of the Gauntlet. (Rotating wing, Durability, Heroes that can go outside ) etc Ahsoka will need a different ability because this ship flew solo against Thrawn's forces. Perhaps borrowing one of Anakin's abilities would be appropriate like the one from the Delta-7/ Y-wing
I see no reason why the X-wing Alliance can't be a steward for multiple formats with the different rules editions, and both with ones frozen in time and ones that continue to try to refine and evolve them. Beyond saying that their word isn't gospel and people can just do what they want, there doesn't have to be this false ultimatum between people that just want to play with their 1.0 components and 2018 FFG points lists and those that want to see a '2.75' that tries to walk back AMG's worse ideas and revisit the ones that had promise but poor execution. There's room for community OP with both. Hell, bring HotAC into the fold while we're at it.
First off, it’s been great to see you making new content! We missed you! Second, I appreciate your positivity, rational thoughts and level headedness about the whole situation! Keep up the good work! And yes, “The crazy bastards did it.”
Bro, I was so mad and there's a lot of me that still is. I will state that I want this game to return to a healthy place again. I fully trust every other person in there to help do that as well. There's some big wrinkly brains in there so it's a solid start
I hope it goes well but I fear lack of ships will end up a thing and some of these sides never seeing eye to eye. I mean I’m as I stayed with 1.0 , so all this already happened to me.
The fact that Asmodee hasn't commited to even producing stock to worlds 2025 is a real kick in the guts. I am interested in discussing this issue further in future videos. :)
-AMG = +Freedom? We've always had the freedom to play the Ruleset we like. There's still 1.0 groups. 2.0 grpups. 2.5 as as well amalgamations of the 3. So that's no new boon. What worries me about an X-Wing 'Community Edition'... ok, the old Necromunda Community Edition was a bloat of trying to please everyone. & not just the de facto Community Leaders. Plus it was directly competing with Yaktribe's Ruleset. & a great many just continued to play with their original Rulebooks. So X-Wing will factionalize, 'cause it already is. Trying to Kum Ba Yah it all is a nice thought, but in my opinion & experience, leads nowhere. X-Wing needs a reset to the last stable Ruleset. Figure that out & let the other groups continue to play their fav edition. There's simply no way to satisfy 3 disparate groups.
Good to see another video from you. I would be interested to see the role playing x wing hotac being done. I have long thought that there is a missed opportunity of role play involving the minis. I was thinking of making a campaign for my son and his friends using my ships. A star wars like role playing game where they are on a space station and have to fly missions for the empire and learn a what the empire is about and get the option to switch to x wings or other rebel ships and during that add something like engineering points where they can modify their ships to achieve missions. Anyhoo great to see another video. exciting times ahead I think!
Thats what i do. I use WEG Star Wars rpg 2.5, together with rules of WEG Star Warriors game and use the X- Wing & Armada models (original and 3D printed add-ons) for nicer look (Star Warriors used simple counters). You can get FFG's rpg supplement "stay on target" for more military kind of rpg background and youre well prepared for what you want to do. 😊
Dude, im sorry but you are really misrepresenting the people who are upset about this situation and THAT seems toxic to me. People have every right to be upset at the situation and there is nothing wrong with them expressing that if it isn't hurting anyone. The only toxic people in this situation are AMG and a FEW people who take their feelings too far.
I was/ am not critisising people for being upset. I said in the video that advocating for your preferred ruleset is a good thing. What I labelled as toxic was a stubborn unwilingness to compromise and work together to solve this.
So my community had a 2.0 legacy night recently and it was a lot of fun, but funny enough I brought brobotts at 199 points and played another player also flying 199 brobotts. We both agreed that the game would be won based on initiative win, so… we played with ROAD. It was actually a fun and close game. I didn’t think I liked ROAD, but this was the first instance of it actually made a game fun… so call me a hypocrite but I see the merit now. I still don’t like the bump and range 0 rules though, but year I love 2.0 list building but hate bidding. I hope we as a community can make a 2.75 that brings the best parts of both game modes together. 2.0 or 2.5 doesn’t really matter, build lists for both formats, play both modes. The game will only survive if we keep playing as much as possible. Just my 2 cents
There's absolutely something to ROAD. I was surprised how much I enjoy it, after initially pinning it as my biggest concern going into 2.5. But yes, much prefer 2.0 bumping rules. There seems to be a lot of people speaking up for ROBD (random order before dials), which would cut down on the randomness factor and probably do away with the need for 2.5 bumping rules, which was always a bandaid to make ROAD work.
There are gonna be a bunch of issues and more worryingly egos in the community - I feel it’s gonna be a case of if a certain group can’t lead the narrative going forward then they’ll do their own thing. In saying that - and this is something based on a discussion with anger person - amg &/or Disney could nuke community management of the game as well.
Ego's are certainly a concern from multiple camps. To be honest, if a group isn't satisfied in the XWAs ruling and decides to essentially keep doing what they're doing, I think that's ok. Many of these groups are already operating without official support and if it means players that would otherwise just not play at all getting to engage with the game, that's ok. I would always encourage players to engage with the unified effort, regardless if it's using their preferred ruleset, regardless of that. Disney getting involved would be a pretty severe step, and I think it would only come about due to extreme carelessness from the part of the XWA, in terms of recklessly monetizing things they shouldn't ect. I don't see that happening, but yes, it is a concern.
Thanks for the video! Very interesting. I just got into X-Wing ( I play Legion) because of a recent video I made; the game really intrigued me so me and a buddy got our starters and some extra. Cant wait to see what happens next. On another note; Where did you get that shirt? 😶🌫
Thanks! Oh I think I got that right around the time Rogue One came out, so you probably wont be able to find it.... I wanna say it's from Uniqlo or something like that.
Good riddance. AMG was a blight on the game and the community as a whole. The only downside of it being discontinued is no more model production so getting new players will be harder. But I have full confidence in both X-Wing Alliance and the Legacy Devs that the game will continue to be loved by many.
Anyone know where I order quality printed Errata for both X-Wing and Armada? I was able to get the Rapid Reinforcment I and II cards, squadron dials, and ship boards off of Etsy. Really nice too, but I would also like the errata cards too. Also, the EU ships too. I have a few nice 3D printed ones. I wouldn’t mind getting nice prints of new rule books too.
While it's not exactly what you asked for, we can at least generate errata'd card text easily with the tools on Infinite Arenas. infinitearenas.com/ If you're ordering after market cards, simply getting a hold of identical cards with slightly altered text will always be tricky from a legal standpoint. The easiest solution might be trying to source a way to print them youself, as frustrating as that is.
Hi Nick. I know that you haven't agreed with me in the past. I have my own player base who are happy going forward with a legacy xwing version with 3d printed ships.
ugh... I know you're kidding but I've already had to remove a few idiots for saying stuff like this unironically. :P What a fun time we live in for Star Wars discourse!
Funny to read so many prefer 2.0, as our scene happily jumped to 2.5. We hated the bumping and toilet bowl tactics of 2.0 and found 2.5 made the game much more fun for all. And while we enjoyed dogfighting, one player can annoyingly hold up the game by--let's be honest--not playing; 2.5's scenarios fixed this and made the game much more interesting and immersive. Basically, we felt pre-2.5 supported play styles that the player using them found 'clever' and 'skillful' while the other simply found them annoying; 2.5 fixed this to a great degree. We'll carry on with 2.5. YMMV.
I've always felt 2.5's greatest strength is how it keeps fun at the heart of the game philosophy. I think no matter what happens there's some key design elements that 2.5 introduced that should be developed.
Hi Hairy Nick! Glad to see your highlight and input on the announcement. All well said regarding unity and basically providing a version of Xwing that can define a core of the game and OP at a future date. I have no sub-title! :D Of course I have been around since early 1.0. Have my own links to GSP, NCX, 312 and others. But mostly I am just passionate about providing a future for this game and demanded a spot on the team. I actually had plans to organize such a team myself, but with the AMG announcement in the middle of the day, others beat me to it. :D But I am happy to play my role and work with everyone involved in shepherding a core version of this game for the future.

Hey nick, been cool to hear your thoughts on this :) it's great to hear that this is sparking hope
From my personal perspective, I was almost out of the game and now feel like we can come back together and push it forwards :)
I echo all of your statements about how we should all come together and play X wing. There is a lot of discussions to have about where we go and how to manage it and yes, eventually what does the game look like after AMG, 2.5 2.0 and everything.
We are super excited and all feedback is appreciated
Cheers Oli, thanks for voicing your thoughts. :) Looking forward to what you and the XWA have for us.
Man..... 1.0 is so much fun. I can't see any world where it get's official adoption but still, so great to crack out for casual games.
the great part of an analog game is that it doesn't die just cause they don't make the parts any more. it only dies when you stop playing it. and with today's 3D market you can get what ever parts you need if you look.
ask Mordhiem players if they care that GW hasn't done anything for that game in decades.
Well said. :)
The Star Wars ccg from decipher has been hanging around for almost 25 years now. Active player community that even makes new “cards”
Game looks dope! I should try it, I have my brother's old collection in storage.
2.0
Keep it simple
There is room for improvement, not AMG "improvement"
Creators like you remaining an ambassador for the game gives me incredible hope that this game will discover a new life like Mordheim has to throw it with the list of games you named.
Great job, duder!
Thankyou :)
Sorry this is the internet. Some good comes from the bad. Anger and criticism are absolutely constructive.
Well done getting Armada stock at MSRP!
Im sure this game will live on and thrive. Warmaster is still played a lot with new rules updates still being developed by the community.
@@robertkreitler6727 %100. Well said.
At this point, I would look to others for any future content.
@@HairyNick Wizkids could buy the flight system ... they have had success with Star Trek Attack Wing.
They also have one of the old FFG X-wing devs on staff. :p
I would imagine the Omicron Class Attack Cruiser with Tech or Omega piloting would have a Tech Turn Special K Turn & Shoot in System Phase for 2 charges with a 1" with a deplete token
Mando's N-1 could have the same ST-70 special ability plus perhaps a booster like Poe Dameron's Ep8 T-70 X-Wing
The Jedi T-6 reminds me of the Gauntlet.
Thanks! :)
Bro, I was so mad and there's a lot of me that still is. I will state that I want this game to return to a healthy place again. I fully trust every other person in there to help do that as well. There's some big wrinkly brains in there so it's a solid start
Lol good to know!
@@stephanlange2136 that sounds awesome 👍. I think I will give it a go.
18:04 guys if anyone wants rid of their x-wing minis get in touch and send em my way
So my community had a 2.0 legacy night recently and it was a lot of fun, but funny enough I brought brobotts at 199 points and played another player also flying 199 brobotts.
Love the idea of HOTAC and legacy videos!
So much closer to the camera than he used to be. Very intimate 🥵
lol! I'm playing around with the setup.
I want to know how the Chess community is going to move forward - I heard they stopped supporting it a century ago.
Queen busted. plz nerf, devs.
Link in the corner did not appear, at least for me.
Yeah I went to bed after starting the upload and forgot about that..... fixing now!
While it's not exactly what you asked for, we can at least generate errata'd card text easily with the tools on Infinite Arenas. infinitearenas.com/
If you're ordering after market cards, simply getting a hold of identical cards with slightly altered text will always be tricky from a legal standpoint. The easiest solution might be trying to source a way to print them youself, as frustrating as that is.
First be happythat it did not get a Warhammer fantasy end time.
Second take the system and make something new with it like 9th
I am certainly greatful that we are not in a worse position than some GW games over the years.
Hi Nick. I know that you haven't agreed with me in the past. I have my own player base who are happy going forward with a legacy xwing version with 3d printed ships.
Nothing wrong with that. :)
thank you
The game is die no original suport = die
Actually, the game uses many dice!
We need some less hairy Justin content
Dang you Kathleen Kennedy and Brie Larson ...ok an i doing this right are we outraged lol
I think no matter what happens there's some key design elements that 2.5 introduced that should be developed.
reading 2.5 rules, getting rid of bumping is great.
"Discord is the way this fails" promotes his discord at the begining of the video, what a flip flop!
Yeah I thought about that in editing.... I still think it's the pithiest way of phrasing it, just unfortunate in context lol.
Hi Catherine! Good to hear :) Keep us posted!
