I'm happy to get introduced to your "chosen" - colours... they would be "collected" to my most favourite stash! I've been painting with watercolour for years now, and I'm binged watching you, since you are a good teacher, and I learnt from the best British Watercolorists!!! Thanks!
I paint "planets"!!! Now, planets are entangled or entertwined, by which, your berries gave me an "idea" of making, or painting "planets" in this manner......that wud be great!!! Thanks again, for being my mentor! - love, Cleo
I've been purchasing the necessary colours from amazon to paint these berries, and ghod! they take long...meanwhile, I binged watch your painting hands on this, coz I thought it was so difficult!!! I've finished my art on "planets" that were arranged this way, and, it turned rather more "professional" than my other paintings...thanks for being tutorial to me! I really love these berries! Thanks! - cleo
Love your work here! I am painting my own red berry painting and I will incorporate some of your techniques in it. Thanks so much! I appreciate your time!
Hi Carolyn, I just used the Permanent Carmine for the initial washes as it mixes well with the other colours. I used the Pyrrol Scarlet later when adding colour to the berries as this colour is more opaque and can get a bit muddy when mixed with other colours.
I am using Framers Tape. I love this tape as it stays in place even when wet and peels off well as long as I peel it slowly and away from the painting.

Thanks Dahlia, glad you enjoyed it!
I love this painting! I am going to try it. Having some trouble seeing if the pyrrol scarlet is used early? Or just as a wash over later?

beautiful piece, I am wondering what type of tape you are using?
