I like how the suit changes to a far less camouflaging colour scheme when it would be better for stealth to just keep it the way it is. I also like how kitai attacks a massive ass baboon which is probably three times his weight and monkeys are by far one of the most powerful, vicious, and dangerous pack animals out there, esspecially in that environment.

No amount of training can prepare a 13 year old for this environment and it’s entirely why he was rejected by the Rangers. Kitai not being ready and needing his father “ The actual Ranger” is what the entire film centers around. You can look this up but the Suit Kitai wears changes pigment not just to match his surroundings but to also reflect the status of the wearer. White simply means he needs medical attention.

Only thing I liked was the characterization of planet Earth evolving into a No Human environment/ecosystem. The whole Human was once Apex of planet Earth to "ah a leech" *dies in 2 minutes* I find that a very interesting plot twist. Also, escaping large apes through water was a smart detail. Although, the "large ape" refers to the morphology. Baboons are tailed apes- I don't think the water weakness applies to tailed apes. Fun fact: Large apes are notoriously bad swimmers (oraguntans, chimps, gorillas and homo sapiens drown with ease) We homo sapiens overcome through extensive training(swimming lessons) but generally not knowing how to swim is a very "human" weakness. One shouldn't feel bad if they aren't swimmers.
