Goofeeman Goofemberg I’ve noticed this too. Not terribly annoyed with it (yet) but this new song seems a bit worse than the last few (original, Utopia and Synthetic Dawn variants were all amazing, this one is still good but just less so)
I am really impressed. In so many games soundtracks are barely worth the HD space they occupy. Stellaris, the expansion soundtrack is a selling point in itself. Fits the expansion theme very well. Now to wait an incredibly long 8 days before the expansion releases...

It turns "building servers" into "building servers for researchers of the university, so that we may better understand our place in the universe as a species and come closer and closer to taking to the stars".

Hey Andreas! Your Stellaris soundtrack is one of my all-time favorite soundtracks. As a kid I loved Mass Effect's OST and I'm so happy that there's a game now out that has more similar, synth-heavy spacey music that doesn't fall into ambiance. I find ambiance boring. Keep making awesome songs man.

This song is just so wonderfully appropriate to the game and the DLC and you even have to feel some little tinge of regret when you push that button on a Planet Cracker Titan and know that even in a video game: you have just played God and consigned a million souls and organisms to the void once again...

Before i was in doubt. Should i try Stellaris or this type of game is just not for me. But your brilliant work made my choice.
Great song, but needs a new name. It's way too upbeat to be called 'Doomsday', you should create something a lot darker and more oppressing for that title. This one should be called "Reckoning" or something, it has the sense of wounded dignity of an empire that has been brought low only to arise once again to gain vengeance.

I have 750 hours in Stellaris. At least a third of that is from having the game open minimised with the soundtrack playing while I'm doing something else.

Yup, was immediately lost, no chance, hook line and sinker.
While Space, electronic and sci-fi is not my prefered theme your music is still ideal for this particular theme
