I love the city in Arkham Knight, but God, those skyscrappers we saw in the skyline of Arkham City were amazing. Imagine if he game actually were that vertical, with those massive Art Deco/ Gothic Towers, the GCN giant skyscrapper, etc etc
Exactly they completely changed the city for Arkham knight which is fine but the city looked so much better and just more interesting in Arkham city and even asylum imo. Shame we couldn’t free roam gotham until the final installment in the series

The fact they added it to the game is so freaking cool and they didn't have to add the details. Obviously it wasn't rendered for the game but to still have those little details in the background is so freaking cool! Also the same goes with Arkham Knight, they didn't have to add Asylum and City with details but they did and we love them so much for it!

This just goes to show how much of an ego they had over there at Rocksteady. Like, they not only made Arkham City 5 times bigger than Asylum, but also added in the Asylum as well, which makes City 6 times bigger than Asylum.
I always like seeing far-away stuff like that up close and seeing how they use forced perspective. When Resident Evil 4 came to Oculus, there was one scene where you are walking on a cliff over a lake. In the original game, it looked like the lake was really far down and wide. But in the headset, you can kinda tell that, no, it's not far or wide. The other side of the lake is extremely close but looks far because the cliffs are scaled-down, as well as the textures. There's also a castle on the other side that you can kinda tell isn't far away but is just small.

The Arkham sequel I'm still holding out hope for is an Arkham World game where every landscape from every previous sequel is playable. Every room from asylum including the tiny Islands surrounding it. Arkham City. Basically all of Gotham where you can play with the batboat the Batwing the batmobile with sub battles, tank battles, aircraft battles so on and so forth. Basically Grand theft Arkham. I don't care who takes this idea I won't Sue anyone. I just hope it gets made.
This would be the perfect opportunity to include some stuff like the shock gloves and remote batclaw from Origins which were so missing in Arkham Knight
I'm still hoping for another Arkham game (whether an Arkham Origins sequel or a Batman Beyond game or both) that provides the complete Batman experience that I thought we'd get with Knight. All the vehicles, bases, islands fully explorable or mostly explorable with multiple playable characters and civilian gameplay.

I don’t think that’d be possible, since each game is separate, you’d have to remake the open world of Arkham asylum, which even there would probably take months, then merge the 2 open worlds together, that’d be as much work as developing a game.
Oh my gosh I remember doing the freeze grenade spam on the DualShock 3. 😂 Also I remember the absolutely magical feeling flying around Gotham. I kinda wish that Gotham looked like that in Knight.
I think it was just the excitement of exploring a part of the open world you can’t access, Gotham in Arkham knight is so big compared to Arkham city open world, but I wish it wasn’t so dead, it’d be cool to have pedestrians walking around the map as you travel.
Going out of bounds in these games always scares the shit out of me, I always feel like I'm 5 seconds away from seeing some shit like I dunno, Scarecrow's boss fight model being hidden out of bounds or something.
It hurts that 1: The island isn't lit up in the 'remaster' and 2: The entire West portion of the island is now gone. All they did was up the saturation and break some nice details which added to the experience.
Wish they made a Remaster where you can spawn at Arkham City with Arkham Knight Gotham Map is next to it and Arkham Asylum and free roam all three places, that'll be fun roaming around 3 places and prolly make one where you do their story modes or some shit

So they actually used the layout from part of the island to be used in this game, ok, good attention to detail. They didn't do that with Knight, the Asylum or Arkham City, they were clusters put together, from afar it looked like it did years before, but get closer and it's was just stuff, squished together.
Imagine if the next game is the actual ending with dick or terry as Batman with all three locations like the asylum, Arkham city, and Gotham as one huge map

It’s not supposed to look all good because the player was never supposed to get back to Arkham asylum so low detail just enough to look good from far away there’s no med bay or intensive treatment because we were never supposed to see that

Return to Arkham is just the rerelease of Arkham Asylum and Arkham City. They have updated graphics and they come with all the DLCs. That’s about it

Because the game won’t let you leave the city but with this glitch you can go so high the game can’t detect you
