They have to be more than tombs. There are so many tbungs around evident there
why is it that mounds never get excavated like the other ancient sites ?
Theres nothing to excavate they are burial chambers - however it doesnt stop people from doing harm in the belief they may find some treasure of sorts

All tombs are empty yes - bones possibly taken by animals etc
