Finally somebody playing it correct. Every other video skips things, plays wrong notes, and adds their own bs. This is refreshing.

When you think you've learned all the tricks, you find simple little things that make all the difference. Thanks to you Scott I can have a Skynyrd tune pretty tight in a day or so. What I do is learn the parts, fills, and the solo, then play through with the recording over and over.

Great video again! And a beautiful guitar there. Good tips about rolling back the volume knob. I think the lead parts on this one are Gary's masterpiece, so much emotion oozing out of every note. I think I also recognize all Allen's parts in it, but do you know did Ed play on this song? Thanks and keep 'em coming.

5:26 to 5:42 should be illegal to listen to lol I’ve listened to this song a thousand times and each time that section just pulls my soul out of my body. By far my fav Skynyrd song of all time. RIP Ronnie Van Zant and Steve & Cassie Gaines

Wonderful Scott ! Another great tune . Years ago I saw , Cry For Love Band ( Audley Freed , Robert Kearns, Jason Patterson , and Kelly Holland - 2014 rip ) do this song as an encore . They nailed it Freed and Holland on guitars . ) I sure you heard it ? Best wishes to you !

Hi Scott! So glad I found your channel! You and I spoke about Leon's bass part in this song after the show in Libertyville a couple of days ago. And yes you were absolutely right! Leon was a bad dude! Looking through your channel I have a feeling I'm going to know how to play these songs a lot better now 😁

I've been going over this video again lately because this is the song I'm doing for my guitar lessons. You've helped me a lot with a few parts i was having trouble with.
By the way, we're coming to see you guys play in Mt Vernon, Il in a few weeks. This makes three years in a row of seeing you guys and I can't wait!

"Nuthin Fancy" gets derided by critics & the tone deaf 🤣 but there's some good meat on LS deep cuts. On the Hunt is a KILLER CLASSIC ROCK GEM, mostly overlooked ( perhaps not "PC" now ? ) But you had to be there. Personally, I prefer it to GBMB, & it's one of my Fav ROCK CLASSICS, Skynyrd or otherwise. Thanks Scott, great Video 🎸✌️.

@@seraines @seraines WOW 😁 was extolling your skillz & videos with a guy on Tom's Rockin Guitar last night. Tom's an LS fan out of Myrtle Beach & awesome player who does really great & very Specific Technique tutorials. NEVER thought I'd receive a personal response to a peak COVID era tutorial. Thanks Scott !!! Congrats to you, Artimus & the Band for the great LS community reception to Anthems. I Have To get back East of the Mississippi & see you guys !!! Currently stuck in the Seattle area, where I hear Nirvana/Grunge in my head like Tinnitus 🤣 ROFL. Love the nuance of your playing, appreciate your videos, as well as how Artimus & you guys so profoundly honor Ronnie & all the LS family, which of course includes Him, & now all you guys in APB also. No dis on Johnny I Love all LS Family including Damon now, but with Gary's passing last year RIP 🎶🎸✝️🕊️ you guys in APB are the carriers of the torch of the original performing band with Ronnie. Seriously, I Truly appreciate your reply. I learned a lot from OMFTR, as a paper boy in 1976, when I FOUND IT one early Sunday am, on / "FROM the Road" & started playing in mid 77' listening endlessly & trying to copy what I heard on this great Lyve non radio deep cuts. #1 being Tuesday's Gone, Gary (and Allen, Ed & Steve.) as my teacher(s). Getting a reply is REALLY personally encouraging to me, just getting started relearning after a bad rollover crash in Dec 22 that damaged my C-7 and really affected my amateur playing in a lot of weird ways (nerves, muscle memory). But by the Grace of God still here & almost 100% back, but I'm just now starting to focus on relearning playing, mostly my fretting arm & hand. Sorry for the run on Re2 here, but I'm seriously JAZZED to get your personal reply 😁 🎸🤘 !!! All my best to the APB family 👍🎶 - Mark ✌️
