    David, you look like a love struck teenager. But who can blame you, that is one beautiful & charming engine. Looking forward to more video runs from this sweet engine.

    very nice run. out of all the non-boxer twins, that's my favorite. I will eventually get one.

    Channels that produce videos because there truly passionate about their content rather then trying to attract views are always the best. Awesome engines and content, keep it up.

    David, you look like the 'cat that got the cream'.. lost for words toward the end - simply awe struck! It's great to see your passion for these engines. I too am a Saito lover and love their quality and sound. It's incomparable to any other.
    It does say in the manuals to run them in for 10 mins at 4000 rpm, then 5, 6, 7K. Total 40 mins. Some believe in running in at max throttle to bring up the heat quickly so everything beds down and rings seal. Maybe the manuals are written for total newbies to stop them destroying their engines. I have to run in a 91S and was thinking of adding extra castor to the 18% Klotz lube. Will it help or hamper the break in?
    Keep up the good work.

    States right in a manual do not exceed 4,000 RPM. For the first 10 minutes of operation for new engines. Just an FYI. keep up the good work.

      @@dmrcflyr2 lol. I'm not saying do that. Just reference for the future. Saito builds almost indestructible stuff I wouldn't even worry about it

      I have a K and B 61 in a bag needing reassembled. Been soaking in MMO for years. I believe it's all complete. Would you like to have it? I'll drop it in the mail for you let me know

      Well I have been running Saito engines for over 30 years. So I am pretty sure how to break them in and operate them.

      Thank you for the offer but I will pass. I have never been a fan of K&B engines. I just gave away a 61 toa friend.

    Hej from Sweden.. David, did you ever figure out why you had a diff in head temperature on this engine, remember it was about 50 f difference.

    • @dmrcflyr2
      @dmrcflyr2  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      No multi-cylinder engine is ever going to have the exact same head/cylinder temperatures. Especially one with a single carb.

    • @roki5941
      @roki5941 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@dmrcflyr2 hmm, in my world the diff seem like a lot..

    • @dmrcflyr2
      @dmrcflyr2  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@roki5941 Well I also have not run that engine in many months, so I do not recall what the temps were. But it was a new engine and still being broken in.

    • @roki5941
      @roki5941 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@dmrcflyr2 If I remember correctly it was a difference of 50F, I might understand a minor diff due to the slipstream from the prop,, probably you are right,, in a new engine the liners need to break in well, before its fair to the engine.
