Que lindos recuerdos... Compre el cox 0,49 dorado en 1976 con 12 años, que alegría tenia, todavía lo tengo, hice u control, vuelo libre, y R. C con un planeador 2 x 2. Saludos !
I remember when I was a kid fooling around with the Cox .049, the Baby Bees and Golden Bees, lots of good times flying them U control, and led to a lifetime hobby in RC, over 60 years so far.
cox 0.49 Diesel bought a motor down and I'm not getting put to work already tried to drive Diesel. tried with ether, kerosene and cotton oil and the engine does not work already changed the teflon did everything and the engine not handle what kind of combusteivel that you use the correct ratio
Cox is a low revving torquey engine that likes 40-50% nitro and castor oil. If you get it up around 20k it can break the crank. 6-3 or a 7-2 is a good prop.

Welcome to the Club.
2022, and I still have my golden bee and black widow... Great engines. Thanks for the video
What a beautiful spot to fly. Very cool plane.
I fondly remember my 2nd RC model, a Thermic 72 converted to RC with a power pod and a Golden Bee. Who knows how many times I flew it!
COX020はモーターグライダーに適してていますね。
私もこのCOX020を持っています。
手放したくないエンジンです。
Nice flying mate great glider love the cox engines
glides like a rock with motor on top
Fun on a budget. Starts up good, must be some good fuel used there.
Das macht bestimmt sehr viel Spaß! Daumen hoch!
Beautiful plane and flight!
Dang... I almost forgot, but I once had one of these WiK Susi II planes...
Sympa ce modèle avec le petit Cox !
Awesome video!! Thank you for sharing it Alex!
I once out a baby bee on a 72" Jetco Thermic sail plane climbed like an angel. How much does this model weigh? What about the other specs?
hatte ich auch, in den 70ern............ ich konnte aber nicht fliegen damals........

He noise, the smell, the poor running engines I do miss it but I much prefer electric now.

That's an awful big prop for that little .049.
