Dude the fact that millions of people thought a nine year old girl was driving to interviews and buying cars on her own is one of the most shocking parts of this story.
And the fact that she seemed to have a new house and new car every week that was never seen again

Sadly, to add to this tragic tale, yesterday her parents hacked her Instagram and made everyone believe she was dead. Multiple outlets reported on this only to reveal that her awful and disgusting parents orchestrated the death hoax on her.

Clearly the mother is behind all of this, the mere fact that she let her use the estate and her boss's car for tay video says alot.

So this seems pretty clear cut. The parents got divorced, the dad was paying probably a very sizable amount of child support being he's a successful attorney. He saw what the money was going towards.. he saw the behavior from his ex-wife and son. Ex wife was fired from her job. She probably tried to take dad to court for more child support or alimony. He probably saw the anguish and mental toll being taken on his daughter from this shyt she was being put through. He took control of a bad situation and got a court order for him to assume custody of his daughter. He got her out of a bad situation. He did the right thing. Good for pops. Now mom and bro want to get her back with them and back in front of the camera to use her for a financial footstool to prop themselves back into luxury once again. Obviously they have nothing to prove the father is ill suited to care for his daughter because I'm sure she'd spoken up by now and the courts woulda stepped in by now. He saved his daughters life. Wish there were more dad's like him.

@@Lolalolo1996 with lil tay's popularity on the internet even to this day, the court ruling will most likely be shared around the internet, and tons of youtubers/media outlets will report on this just because how much views the 2 words "lil tay" give. Sure some people will still be in the dark about the entire thing, likely only've heard of lil tay and her bragging, but the majority with internet access will most likely know the truth behind her internet presence and know the entire thing is a hoax she doesn't want to be in.
Of course I assume the entire abusive mother/brother, savior father, tay doesn't want to be here narrative is true, which hopefully is, and that the court ruling will be in favor of the father, who might also be an asshole, might not be an asshole, no one knows.

In my opinion 2018 was the last good year for TH-cam censorship-wise. Until the second Adpocalypse came in 2019 when almost every creator had to censor their swears, including the most profane ones. But they adopted that censorship so their videos are monetised at their maximum and it holds up today. It's so tragic that TH-cam is the way it is now.

I hope this girl grows up alright and eventually gets to tell her truthful side of the story. Ultimately, whether or not she’s being physically hurt by her family, the entire situation is emotionally and mentally painful to go through. No child should have to go through being forced to act a certain way to please their greedy family, and they especially shouldn’t have to deal with their family being willing to literally ruin their own lives to keep milking the situation for more money. As a kid that kind of thing only proves to you where your family’s true alliances lie, and sadly her family’s don’t lie with her happiness or safety.
Honestly, I hope she doesn't tell her side of the story. While it might provide closure for us, I hope she gets to live a normal life and never becomes a public figure again.

Honestly props to WoahVicky for doing the right thing for once and speaking on confirming that yes her brother was treating her like shit. She could have stayed silent, and whether or not she spoke to get views and stuff, it did help more that someone closer to Lil Tay backed up what everyone saw but some still doubted as fake for more attention.
I'd give her props if she exposed the brother the moment she found out about it. She had no problem continuing to work with Lil Tay and her fucked up brother on those videos as long as the views kept coming. She sat on vital information and only shared what she knew after pubic opinion had already shifted.

Yeah, I'm going to side with the father on this one. Her father actually wants what is best for her. The mother and brother are still trying everything they can to exploit her.
It certainly seems pretty clear that this child is just a source of income for her brother and mother, they're making these allegations against the father to keep control of their puppet, and the over-dramatic sob stories they're insisting on are a desperate and unconvincing attempt to gain support, sympathy, and of course more money, from their audience. If they were already coaching the child for a long time, which seems quite certain, it would not surprise me at all that they'd gaslight her into believing a demonized version of her apparently more reasonable and well-intentioned father, essentially brainwashing the girl into siding with the people who seem to have her own happiness in mind the least.
