There are going to be a good amount of characters who unfortunately will not become playable characters in Smash.
But it's still interesting to think about what kind of move sets these characters can have if they were playable, so that's why I'm here today.

The 5 lasted characters have been the way of the swords. I can image a cool animation where Yu, 2B, Raiden and Ryu take on Dark Matter and end it with Yu charging their blades with electricity as they all do one final slash
Now add Sir Daniel and Lloyd into this.

Doomslayer and Ryu Hayabusa are two of the character with higher chances to truly join that deserves to be represented in Smash. Both NEEDS to enter in the next one

I really want to see Joe musashi he's my favorite ninja but I have to see him in his Shinobi 3 uniform the remake Shinobi uniform is cool and all but his Shinobi 3 uniform is just peak.
Hayabusa was for me the big miss in the DLC pack, such an iconic character

BF1 my dude, I felt my soul leave my body when I saw Ryu was this week's selection. My father and I played tons of Ninja Gaiden 1, 2, and 3 on the NES when I was a kid (back then, the Gamecube was in its heyday.) I was at first dismayed to think you'd passed the Windmill Shuriken and the Flame Wheel over, and then overjoyed to see them included!! I loved playing Windmill Shuriken Tag and watching the screen get swept of enemies by the relentless boomeranging throwing-star. Thank you so much for capturing a piece of my childhood to put in Smash!
I usually go for two different categories for my suggestions/requests, but I'm in an NES mood. Alex & Ryan from River City Ransom would be fun additions (possibly with Kyoko and Misako from River City Girls as alternate costumes or echoes?) and provide a grounded but potentially creative beat'em'up formula. And the Boy and Blob from "A Boy and His Blob" have a lot of potential for a technical but fun character combo!
Thank you again for this wonderful hit of pure nostalgia. I was never able to get into the Ninja Gaiden games for the Xbox, but I'm thrilled to see a childhood friend again. You've done a wonderful job, as always. Have a terrific weekend!
Alright, so from now on, I'm going to do short little reviews of each character, going over what I liked about the moveset, what I didn't like, and any suggestions for improvement
Overall, I really liked this moveset. It was a ton of fun seeing a long overdue character get his time to shine on this series, and I think you portrayed him well. Having him be a rushdown-type character is perfect for who he is, and yeah, his projectiles are reasonably suitable for neutral, outside of maybe his shurikens. Ryu also seems like a very combo-heavy character, one that can land great strings if need be, but if he is interrupted via shielding, it makes it hard for him to come back due to his low shield damage. In a way due to this (Along with the Ki gimmick), he's a very risk-reward type character. Do you play it safe with Ryu and just use lighter attacks, not using his best options? Or do you use the powerful stuff with greater risk of failure? I feel like those types of characters are always super hype ones, and I imagine if Ryu were in the game, he would have some hype to him.
With that being said, I only have one real problem: I'm not sure how much I like the idea of the follow-up to the dash attack seemingly being near-instant. For an attack that can just straight up let you attack from behind and basically lets you say "no" to getting punished for wiffing the move, I would want some more end lag on that. A tool like that could be very unbalanced in the wrong hands.
But overall, yeah, I really liked this moveset. Solid 9/10 from me.
Oh yeah, and I gotta get one request in. I'll represent another ninja, my boy Strider Hiryu from Strider.
Giving the Violent Gale more end lag I think is reasonable, that and opponents will just need to keep it mind, and will have to hold their shield a little longer.

You fooled us last time, but this one has GOT to be Galacta Knight! Who else wants the strongest warrior in the galaxy to be in smash?
That would be AWESOME, but I don’t think he would do another Kirby character so soon. I would love to be wrong though.
My personal idea for a Galacta Knight moveset would be based around the Meta Points system from Meta Knightmare Ultra, which notably features Galacta Knight as its final boss.
In this mode, you accumulate Meta Points which you can use to perform special actions. This is used to give Meta Knight a way to use his boss moves without being overpowered.
I think a similar system would work for Galacta Knight. It would let players build up points to unleash Galacta Knight's power in bursts or all at once if you manage to build up 100, but prevent Galacta Knight from stomping everyone by default. It would let us have our strawberey shortcake and eat it, too.
Oh I already am thinking about is alternate colors. They should be pink for himself, purple for marks, gold for nova, blue for Meta Knight, orange for Morpho knight, a light aeon hero alt, and a dark aeon hero alt. I have no idea what his final color should be. If he does come in a DLC package in the future, his route could be strongest in the universe. Where he goes against characters who are mighty powerful. it could go King Dedede, Gannondorf, Mewtwo, King K Rool, Wario, Bowser, and it ends with a battle with Marx. And I have a great idea for his final smash; he’ll fly to the left hand of the stage, and open up his rift in time in space. Then he’ll fly to the right side, and unleash knight beams all around him, which both of those things rack up damage. And finally, he’ll fly to the center of your arena, grab both of the Aon heroes lenses and then large all three. He’ll swing the aeon hero lances outwards, sort of like Morpho Knight‘s first of tag in the second phase, and spin his own in a circle, all of those things doing big damage and launching the foes. Then Galacta Knight flies back to where he was prior. His first victory pose could be him breaking out of his crystal, and striking his signature pose. His second pose could be absorbing light and dark energy and turning into a split knight: 1/2 light, the other half dark, and then strikes his signature pose again. I am for a star victory animation he could strike his pose one last time at a pair to open up his rift in time in space, only for the crystal to seal him back up and suck him back into another dimension.
It could be Morpho if he hasn't done that yet.

Man, you've done so many cool characters in a row! All of these past like eight would seriously be so cool to see in the next Smash. Some requests I have I think are long overdue for movesets are Raz (Psychonauts), Impa (Age of Calamity), Specter Knight (Shovel Knight), Joanna Dark (Perfect Dark), Amaterasu (Okami), and obviously the one everyone still wants, Jak and Daxter.
Edit: Just checked and never mind you've done Amaterasu! Don't know how I've never seen that but awesome lol
Ok i have some ideas:
-how about making original movesets for all the koopalings? Because, like many echo fighters, they have way more potential
-take fighters and make them duo characters like ice climbers
(Mario and Luigi; Bowser and jr; or even non same franchise fighters like Greninja and Sheik; Mario and Sonic etc...)
-What is every characters had aura? Like not the same as Lucario but a custom one
Still waiting for the day Jak and Daxter get their own video.
I would be guessing this is a character from Final Fantasy or one of the four champions in Breath of the Wild. Can't wait to find out who it will be.

Teddy (The Darkest Tales) A cool game with twisted subversion's of fairy tales, cool weapons, and great story. Plus he uses scissors as his main weapon which not many characters in games do that.
Gunman Clive (Gunman Clive) Could work like mega man ,with him mainly using projectiles, since his games are very similar to the mega man games.
Dr.Nefarious (Ratchet and Clank) The most popular villain of the Ratchet and Clank series with some of the best boss fights the games have. Plus you could have a victory animation with him laughing so hard he freezes up and Lawrence has to slap him to restart him.😂

Marshadow is based off the Hawaiian Nightmarchers, who are spirits of WARRIORS who have long since passed the mortal plane, they also kill people who aren’t related to them if you look at them (just a fun fact I felt like throwing in).
Plus it’s October, which fits the ghost aesthetic.
PLUS plus it’s getting distributed again at GameStops in Canada and the U.S after the 30th of October, so it’s become relevant again

this'll sound odd - the Stardew Valley Farmer would work really well as a fighter concept. they have four main weapon types (dagger, sword, club, slingshot), a fishing rod for long-range grabs, hoes and scythes for weapons, a possible gimmick surrounding cooking for short-term buffs (think Monado with more steps) and a possible special attack that's just throwing vegetables like Peach's Down-B, but with way more variety (also could lead into the cooking gimmick). and for a final smash, the Wizard and the Junimos have to make an appearance!! and if you're still not convinced, you could use farm animals as a side special and annoy opponents with constant mooing and oinking and baa-ing and clucking, just like late-game Rancher builds have to deal with CONSTANTLY. it'd be cathartic

Hayabusa was one of my MW characters for Smash Ultimate and I was very disappointed that he didn't make it in. It's good to see people still talk about how he could have been if he was in.

I’ve been doing some thinking on possible movesets I want to see, and I thought of something that kind of dances around your rules regarding non-video game properties.
How about making a moveset based on a character from the Dragon Ball Heroes and Xenoverse games? That branch of Dragon Ball probably started as a game first, then had anime and manga created to promote it.
As for who specifically I want to see from there, I’m kind of split. On one hand you could just use Xeno!Trunks as a rep and call it a day. But you could also make a moveset using all the various custom character stuff, implementing various costumes and skins like the Inklings and Dragon Quest Heroes.

This is pretty much what I had in mind for Ryu's Moveset. As for a few things I would add is a Counterattack from blocking as a gimmick or probably as one of the B attacks like the fire Emblem characters or just replace the counter with the Cicada Surge as a teleport. Good video nonetheless.
For the final Smash I would keep it the same but instead of targeting another character with full ninpo he'd izuna drop the opponent causing a huge knock back effect for those around and it would be an instant k.o.

If it's all right, I want to suggest Inteleon from Pokémon Sword and Shield to be given a moveset as I think he would make an awesome smash character. Especially if his final smash is his G-max move, G-Max Hydrosnipe.
Just found out about Atari Mania, where you play as a janitor trying to protect an Atari games museum from monsters by playing Atari-themed microgames. I keep recommending different Atari characters, but the opportunity to recommend a composite Atari character is too good to pass up.

If I may make a suggestion for a moveset, I'd like to see you cover Cole Macgrath from the inFamous games. I heard somewhere that in the development of Playstation All-Stars, Cole was going to have a gimmick where certain actions would make him more good or evil, influencing his powers mid-battle similarly to the karma system in his original games. That never got implemented, but it would've been really cool to see how this kind of gimmick would work.

strap on, this is a long one:
i would like to request Beat from the Jet Set Radio Series. he’s a bit of a forgotten pick, but JSR has really charming 3d platforming that could work for smash bros. i have a few concepts for moves pulled from the game that i think could be worked with.
Beat is a middleweight character, though on the lighter side. He’d weigh about the same as Chroy, Robin, and PAC-MAN. This reflects his high power, but he is still just a teenager. He would be relatively fast, between Cloud and Chroy, but he has some of the lowest friction since he’s on skates. This is to capture the fast-paced skating and platforming in the JSR series.
His jab would be similar to Zero Suit Samus’ rapid jab. It starts with two swings with his fists, then connects to a rapid jab. His dash attack is derived from the primary method of attacking in Jet Set Radio, which is just a skater running onto someone and shoving them. Not a powerful move in and of itself.
Tilts and smashes are moves i am having trouble with, as they may just be basic swipes and sweeps. However, his up-tilt may be similar to Falcon’s up-tilt, which has a leg come down and serve as a grounded spike.
Aerials are derived from different tricks. Beat has above-average air speed. His neutral aerial is a standard air 720 trick, in which he turns 720 degrees. His forward aerial is a flying kite trick, which has him kick both his legs up midair. His back aerial is a simple 180, in which he turns 180 degrees. Curiously, both his up aerial and down aerial are a Method Backflip, in which he does a backflip midair. The major difference is that up-air will send up, while down-air will actually act as a stall-then-fall. This means that if the move is whiffed, he will SD. However, if down-air is landed, it will spike and he will have the ability to recover afterwards.
Now the specials introduce a gimmick: the graffiti, which functions similarly to Inkling Ink. Spray cans come in limited quantities, so they cannot be used continuously lest he runs out of his current storage until they completely refill. Unlike Ink, paint will refill automatically only when it is completely empty, similar to Robin’s tomes.
He will have a small spray can icon indicating how many cans he has left in his current inventory. These numbers change depending on which Down Special he is using.
Neutral special (Spray) just has Beat spray a can of spray paint. If it hits an opponent, the opponent takes a small amount of damage, but it also acts as a damage multiplier.
His side special (Boost) has him sacrifice 5 cans in his current inventory in order to use a sudden burst of speed. This can also be used to cover a massive distance midair and serves as a recovery tool.
Beat has two up specials. His grounded Up Special (Grind) has him grinding on the floor or platform like a rail for up to 15 seconds. Hitting the attack buttons (either neutral or special) has him perform tricks while grinding, which turns him into a massive hitbox. He can cancel it by pressing Up-B again. After grinding, the move enters a cooldown and he cannot perform his grounded up special again until the same amount of time spent grinding has passes. (If Beat was grinding for 5 seconds, he will have a 5-second cooldown.) He will still be able to use his aerial Up Special though.
His aerial Up Special (Boost Flip) has him perform a boosted version of a Method Backflip, which acts as a third jump with a light trail by his skates acting as a hitbox. He will go into freefall after using this.
Down special has him switch the color of spray Beat uses for his Neutral Special. Cans are shown as Small (Yellow Can - 30 cans), Large(Blue Can - 15 cans), and Extra Large(Red Can - 7 cans). Small sprays the fastest, but does the least damage overall. Large sprays slower, but does more damage. Extra Large acts more like a spray bomb that has a huge startup before a big paint explosion that causes a ton of damage but has a lot of endlag.
His final smash his just spraying paint everywhere that does poison damage to all opponents.
He has a total of 4 dances, 2 as idle animations and 2 as victory animations. Additonally, he has a robot clone who provides one more idle dance. These could be used as taunts or victory animations as you see fit.
There’s three viable costume sources. The first costume is his design in the original Jet Set Radio. His second costume is his Jet Set Radio Future design. His third design is his robot clone Zero Beat, minus the wire behind him to prevent any hitbox jank. All the other costumes can have their colors changed to represent other characters such as Gum, Tab/Corn, Yo-Yo, etc.

GIMMICKS:
Raz is an above average lightweight character with two stances: his basic stance, and his Psi-Ball stance, where he hops on his psi-ball due to certain moves. He becomes slippier and floatier when on his psi-ball, and his basic attacks and throws change (aside from the aerial attacks).
MOVEMENT OPTIONS:
In his standard stance, Raz has three jumps, but it's a little complicated. The first jump is ordinary, but the second jump can be either tapped (generating a psi-ball for a second that bursts when he hops off it), or held to shift him into Psi-Ball stance, making his jump floatier. The third jump changes depending on whether Raz is in Psi-Ball Stance or not; in his basic stance, he does a lunge, referencing his recovery in Psychonauts 2, while if he is in Psi-Ball stance, he will pull the ball above him and float down like he was using the levitation ability, which ends Psi-Ball stance. If he's already in Psi-Ball stance, he starts on the second jump in the pattern. He can also wall-jump, which also ends Psi-Ball stance, and he is a hydrophobic character. As a side note, when Raz shields, he uses the Shield ability from Psychonauts (purely an aesthetic choice).
STANDERD MOVESET:
Jab: Raz has a three-hit jab, formed from his psi-hands, derived from his standard melee attack.
Dash: Raz does a running punch with his Psi-Hand.
Side Tilt: Raz punches with his Psi-Hand.
Up Tilt: Raz generates a Psi-Ball beneath him, switching into Psi-Ball stance.
Down Tilt: Raz uses the Stray Thought Locator to generate Stray Thought at the location of every character, summon, partner, and assist trophy on the map. These Stray Thoughts exist for thirty seconds or until Raz uses the standard Down Tilt again. He uses them for his aerial moves (see below).
Side Smash: Raz fires a psi-Blast. This attack can be aimed.
Up Smash: Raz fires a psi-Blast straight up.
Down Smash: Raz turns invisible, making him immune to attacks. He becomes visible again the first time he attacks.
PSI-BALL MOVESET:
Jab: Raz does a pirouette kick while balancing on the Psi-Ball. This is a highly spamable jab.
Dash: Raz rolls forward on his Psi-Ball, which is slightly electrified and damages foes it passes.
Side Tilt: Raz spins the Psi-Ball under his feet, smacking opponents with the tail bubbles.
Up Tilt: Raz drops a Memory Vault at his feet, which hops around the stage and tries to swallow up items.
Down Tilt: Raz uses the Stray Thought Locator to generate Stray Thought at the location of every character, summon, partner, and assist trophy on the map. These Stray Thoughts exist for thirty seconds or until Raz uses the standard Down Tilt again. He uses them for his aerial moves (see below).

STANDARD GRAB AND THROWS:
Grab: Raz has a disjointed charged grab where he shoots out a Psi-hand straight in front of him, then drags whoever it catches back toward him. This is the same whether or not he is in Psi-Ball stance. He can also tap the grab button to grab items or projectiles and throw them back with a Psi-hand, something he does in quite a few boss battles.
Pummel: Raz smacks his foe with a second Psi-hand. This is the same whether or not he is in Psi-Ball stance.
Forward: Raz twirls the enemy around him in a pair of Psi-hands before throwing them forward, in reference to what Dion does to him in Psychonauts 2.
Back: Raz twirls the enemy around him in a pair of Psi-hands before throwing them backward, in reference to what Dion does to him in Psychonauts 2.
Up: Raz hops on his back and rolls the opponent on his feet before handspring-kicking them up, in reference to what Frazie did to him in Psychonauts 2.
Down: Raz generates a second Psi-hand, stretches out the opponent to play jump rope with them a couple of times, then kicks them away, in reference to what his younger siblings did with him in Psychonauts 2.
PSI-BALL THROWS:
Forward: Raz thrusts a Psi-hand forward palm-first, shoving the foe away.
Back: Raz pirouettes on his Psi-Ball and tosses the foe backward.
Up: Raz flipkicks the foe up out of the Psi-hand.
Down: Raz drops the foe and rolls over them with the Psi-Ball.
NEUTRAL AERIAL:
Raz throws a Mental Connection to the nearest Stray Thought, whereupon he hangs in the air. He does flinching damage to any enemy he passes while drawing himself toward the Stray Thought. This ends the Psi-Ball stance and resets his jump count to zero. The Mental Connection does count as a tether and can be used as a recovery tool.
Raz can tether out of the Stray Thought to any other Stray Thought by holding down the attack button and aiming the stick toward the target. This functions identically to a normal Neutral air, but destroys the Stray Thought Raz is hanging in. Raz can also choose to fall out of a Stray Thought by tapping the attack button or jump out of it with the jump button, which also destroys the Stray Thought.
OTHER AERIALS:
Forward Aerial: Raz uses a Mental Cobweb Collector to make a disjointed attack in front of him. It does multi-hitting damage.
Back Aerial: Raz swings some Emotional Baggage behind him, cycling through the Purse, Suitcase, Duffle Bag, Hatbox, and Steamer Trunk each time he does. Smaller baggage deals less damage.
Up Aerial: Raz does a Psi-clap above himself, launching foes away.
Down Aerial: Raz does a somersault and a ground slam with his psi-hand. If he is in Psi-Ball stance, he also explodes the Psi-Ball, dealing more damage and ending Psi-Ball stance.
SPECIAL MOVES:
Neutral Special: Raz generates a Mental Archetype, which wanders the stage and acts basically as Razputin's personal assist trophy. Raz can only have one Mental Archetype on the stage at a time.
Side Special: Raz throws a confusion grenade, which doesn't do a lot of damage but flips controls and locks special moves for a few seconds.
Up Special: Raz generates a bubble of slowed time around himself. This lasts for a few seconds, and affects anything within it aside from himself.
Down Special: A charged special that generates a sphere of fire centered on Raz. The longer it's charged, the bigger the sphere becomes and the more damage it does to characters caught in it when it goes off.
FINAL SMASH:
Raz grows into his giant Goggalor form, stomping across the stage and breathing fire like he does at the end of Psychonauts 2. This ends Psi-Ball stance.

ENTRY, TAUNTS, AND VICTORY ANIMATIONS:
Razputin enters through a Psychoportal that falls away as he exits.
Standard Taunt 1: Raz does the Zilch taunt dance.
Standard Taunt 2: Raz telekinetically pulls out a copy of True Psychic Tales and clean it, an idle animation he has in Psychonauts 2.
Standard Taunt 3: Raz does a graceful bow, pulled from his idle animation in Gloria's Theatre.
Psi-Ball Taunt 1: Raz bounces on the Psi-Ball, ending with a somersault.
Psi-Ball Taunt 2: Raz does a one-handed handstand on the ball.
Psi-Ball Taunt 3: Raz jumps and the Psi-Ball turns into a giant bowling ball/Fabrige Egg/Pill, referencing the things he can ride in Psychonauts 2. Raz will spin the object around a few times before the Psi-Ball turns back to normal.
Victory 1: Raz holds his New Badge pose while the camera spins around him.
Victory 2: We see a number of sketchy representations of Raz, a la the clairvoyance skill, separated by the camera 'blinking'. On the final blink, we see the actual Raz, who crosses his arms and smirks.
Victory 3: Razputin maneuvers through an acrobatic obstacle course (Rail grind to a bounce pad to a trapeze) then somersaults into a pose.
Here’s a unique one.
A smash fighter from Slay the Spire, any of the four main characters would do. The Ironclad, the Silent, the Defect, and the Watcher.
They could all have fun gimmicks. The Defect and the Watcher in particular would be difficult to implement, I feel, as they have odd techniques, but it could led to more creative content.
