No air printer found but mine is on the compatible list?!!!

My wife has an iphone and installed the iphone air print. Unfortunately, my printer, Brother MFC 7440N is not on the compatible list, so we are unable to find the printer on a search. Oddly, we were able to print a document from her phone, via wifi. My Brother printer is at least 15 yrs old, and works fine with my android phone and laptop. Other than buying an Airprint printer, is there any way to resolve this?
Does it print if I print from data. Lets say I have to print something while I am not at home. Can I print remotely?
This was great thank you so much. While doing this I am not getting an option to change paper size ie. Print out a photo say 5x7 it only outputs to letter size. Know a solution or work around. Even the Brothers software won’t let me print a custom size it’s either A4, A5, letter or legal. Thanks I know this thread is getting old but I hope you see this. Thanks again!

Is there a way to connect the ipad with the printer wifi without using a local wifi? In the hp printer i always connect the ipad with the printer via the printer wifi which i couldnt do with brother
Help!! I purchased the MFC-L5800DW. It claims to be an automatic printer. However, with Brother techies, TH-cam videos and hours and hours of my time. It would not allow me to print duplex copies. Using my iPad, iPhone and Mac Book Air. This is in docs and in my Photos. I have the Double-sided tab highlighted but it comes out single sided. Brother obviously do not believe me! So any solutions would be very grateful? Thank you

Thanks but my printer is annoying- I am using iphone to print via wifi, the printer zooms out automatically, as I if it autocrop. That’s why when I have a screenshot to print, I need to edit again to add extra white space around the borders, which should not be the case. Further, the print “preview” looks ok. It’s the final printing that got issues.
Brother MFC- L2750DW is NOT Air Print compatible.😠
My iphone 12 doesn't find my Brother DCP-L2540DW printer. I've make sure it is airprint compatible and connected to the same Wi-Fi net... any advice? Thanks for your video!

When I connect to it, it asks for a password. I have no idea my printer is not touchscreen so I don’t know
Use the arrows and put tye password in with arrows
Hi! I figured out how to do it but unfortunately I can’t print anything anymore because when I try to connect it says unable to connect for some reason

I’ll just stick with the Ethernet cable. Too much hassle trying to connect to Wi-Fi and then connect to iPad. Why can’t they can’t make it simpler?

What if you don't have wifi only iphone by itself.
Found this video by searching for printing with iphone no wifi. Maybe usb to iphone and a compatible printer if there is such a thing.

Mine has the green WiFi light on front but will not connect even after talking with Brother. Complete con if you ask me. I will never buy another Brother product.

you assume everyone understands what you breeze through so quickly at 0:57 seconds. you completely lost me at that point. though I listened to your video and felt you certainly could have made the experience a success, by assuming everyone has the same knowledge you do. You lose those of us who did not grow up with computers
