I love this! We gave our son and daughter-in-law our old camper (that’s about the same size). My daughter-in-law wants to turns it into a studio as well.
Just WOW! What a lovely creative space! It is wonderful you have found a way to display the art of your family too, the embroidery is a treasure and I adore the painting your grandfather painted! Do you know if that is someone in particular he painted?? Thank you for sharing this...it definately opens up ideas for creating space in a way I hadn't considered.❤️
Thanks Button. No, I honestly think it was a kit of some sort he painted a zillion years ago. Even if it was a "kit," he did the work and it reminds me of him. There is a girl painting that goes "with it" but alas, my space is limited in there.
Oh wow I just noticed a basket you have that looks Just like one my Dadddy use to make! It’s on a table beside another basket. But it’s on the Left. Right beside a little white sconce lamp (on the wall) I saw it & it freaked me out! It wouldn’t by any chance have the initials DH burnt in would it? I know it’s a long shot. There are a lot of those kind around. He always put his initials & the year. Anyway it’s a pretty basket. Loved your tour!✌️
Can I ask what state you live in? I’ve been considering doing this with our camper, but we are in Ohio and have cold winters. I have no way of keeping it warm when I’m not out in it using the propane tanks.
Hi Ellen, I live in North Carolina. We use the air conditioner that came with the camper in the hot months, and the propane heat in the colder months. I just keep it "cool enough" not to harm the crafting materials, and "warm enough" to keep things from freezing, etc. in winter months. Then, when I'm actually there working, I can adjust the heat/air as needed to make it comfortable for working.
Very cool. Thanks for sharing.

Great idea! Zoning commission would not allow this here. Boo hoo.
How cool. I love your crafting space. Please feel free to check out my crating she shed as well. Happy crafting, hugs 🤗🌸
