- MTB - Mountain Creek Bike Park NJ - Green Trail Fun on a Rainy Day - Polygon Siskiu T7
I went to Mountain Creek Bike Park in New Jersey for my first big bike park ride with my youngest son. This video shows how I did on my first ride on their green trails and will compare my performance to my last ride of the day. It was raining when I went, so I didn't want to push it too much. I rode on a Polygon Siskiu T7. My son rode on an upgraded Trek Marlin 5, but now he wants a full suspension due to the high-frequency chatter traveling up his legs.

Got to hit up that place soon!
Was your friend riding a trek hardtail?
Yeah, it’s a Trek Marlin. He now has a YT Jeffsy.
Me too in the second visit after the blue trail going to the green I crashed because I brake quickly by locking the front wheel to avoid a crash another rider. Is very tricky just one error you crash.
yeah, I got to learn to be more nimble and faster with my reaction time. The faster you go the faster you need to adjust to changes.
Mountain Creek is pretty fun. If you ever can try to get to Windham Bike Park. It’s a bit better for beginners.
Thank you, I'll definitely look it up.
It sucks so bad it closed now
Can hard tails be used here ? Just for flow riding ? Nothing aggressive
Yes but I'd recommend at least 130mm travel and trail geometry, xc bikes are no fun here
It's the rider, not the travel. Hard tails are fine and so are 120mm XC or "down country" bikes on most trails... especially flow trails at MC.
@@BIIIKES Maybe a high end hardtail but definitely not an entry level bike. The fork is everything
Yes, people ride hardtail even on tech trails but slower.
do these Siskiu run a little small?
I thought at first, but they run similar to everyone else. 480 reach on a large, 460 reach for a medium. In fact they run a little bigger based on these numbers.
