    I think natural hair products make a huge difference. I noticed my hair thrives with clean natural ingredients. I absolutely love Jell-O shot and Various Innersense products. Excellent video 🎉

    Absolutely it helps. In addition to being consistent and diet and family history.

      Consistency is key! And diet is important as well. I believe the hair growth is depended on your Anagen phase. So hair grows in its anagen phase. If you can preserve majority of your hair, without ripping it out your head. Then you can achieve great growth in your anagen phase which can last 2 or 5 years for example. So consistency in routine and great diet will help significantly in this case.

    I think they definitely help make the hair nice n soft but I think that really heavily depends on technique. Once the technique is squared products may not matter as much, maybe lol

      Absolutely, especially technique! I would add routine as well. Cause depending on your lifestyle and how negligent you are with your hair it can lead to a setback.

    I think product selection does make a difference. I use different products depending on what I'm trying to achieve. Also, some products just aren't meant for my hair.

      I get what your saying. But when it comes to how I want my hair to look. Some products don’t deliver. In that case it matters to me

    Although we all know it’s the regimen that ultimately matters, I feel products also play a great part in our hair growth

    Alikay lemongrass gel gives a super firm hold and is available on the ground. Try that, if you can’t get to ecoslay right away

      What stores? Because I looked up her products and I don’t see anything in my area. I’m not a stranger to her products and I used them heavily in the beginning of my natural hair journey years ago. Would love to revisit her lemon grass gel because I personally loved her lemongrass leave-in, sage deep conditioner and black soap shampoo.

      @@symccullough I was fortunate enough to find mine at TJ Maxx for $7.99, so I bought 2. But currently their website has it on sale for $9. I hope that helps.

    "Natural" hair products are not necessary. I am 40 and my mum was able to take care of me and my sister's long natural hair as children. And yes it was thriving and long. She would use Shea butter mix when possible/available ( I am Congolese but grew up in France) but most of the time she would use regular shampoo and hair cream or/and grease that was available at the time. Techniques and basic hair/scalp hygiene is the most important. But for certain types of styling " hair out"...mousse, gel, curl definying creams.... are necessary and very helpful. To me I used "the natural movement mainly " as a way to learn new techniques from different Black women worldwide.

      Agreed! Technique and proper knowledge is what takes hair care to another level. Cause you can have all the products and still have major hair issues

    Do you think hair care products matter in the health and growth of your hair?

  • @2simmondss
    @2simmondss 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    TFS. No I don’t think “natural products” make a huge difference. The women of the 70’s had beautiful lush Afros with heads full of natural hair and they were using wella balsam and tcb and afrosheen. I just buy natural products to support black creators.

      Yep - I grew up in the 60s and 70s with Wella Balsam shampoo and conditioner, Afro Sheen grease and tcb grease, but I wore braids, twists and pony tails. I absolutely hate heat styling tools to this day
