The reality is the vast majority of even good classical guitarists will Never, do the original version justice and most likely give up when they find it just too difficult. This simplified shortened version is absolutely brilliant and allows those that love this piece a chance to play a very acceptable version. Bravo ! and thank you so much for making this available to everyone. Incredibly grateful.
You made a wonderful piece accessible to any beginner out there. The videos you make are fascinating and inspire me to pick up my guitar and practice daily.
@@willteas8244 So the one who can play the real piece is advanced, the one who can play this version and not the original one I would call intermediate, but definitely not a beginner.
@@Bleach420 I Totally agree. It’s still quite difficult to play at the correct tempo without mistakes and hard on the wrist as (p) the thumb is working constantly. I’d rate it at least a 3 but worth the effort and practice.
Very nice simplification! This arrangement can still be played with a lot of feeling. And I don't care what your playing level - if you can keep the rhythm throughout, and play that strum at exactly the right time and place, with exactly the right intensity, you are a fine guitar player! There is a lot here to grow into.
With enough training even the original can be doable remember enjoy practicing and don't do it as a chore have some fun and remember why you started playing I love you
@@legionnairehs7059 it isn't a wrong piece, it's a simplified adaptation. And as a beginner I'd rather play that simplified version at full speed and actually see myself get better than try to play the original at 1/4 of the original tempo and still hit wrong notes. Guitar is about playing music so this version is good for that
This is a great strategy! Uploading both the easy and hard (hard being a serious understatement) so everyone can enjoy playing this masterpiece. THANK YOU Sky Guitar!
Dear skyguitar staff, Please raise the number of stars to 3. This piece -even its easy version - deserves at least 3 stars. Strumming in the middle of the piece is very difficult and the speed in general is high. It is by no means comprable with other 2 star pieces, in terms of difficulty. So it deserves at least 3 stars
Now i low-key get it why this music is only two stars, it's because of the amount of techniques you have to use. Basically the music repeats itself and the same notes during all of it, except when there is a bar chore. In 1 day, I'm able to play the intro 7-9-10-7-9-10 with a nice pace, it's a matter of trying yall, don't give up
The most difficult part of the full version of this piece occurs in the first section (which gets repeated) with the bar chords that are just physically difficult to play cleanly (eg the chord in bar 37). This easy version nicely does away with those. It also unfortunately does away with the whole, slower middle section of the full piece. If you can play this easy version cleanly, there is a good chance you can play the slower, middle section of the full piece. I would encourage people to give it a try because, while the piece is probably best known for the first section and you can use it to impress your friends, it is the middle section that I found to be much more interesting and enjoyable to play. If you use this easy version along with the middle and end sections from the original, you will be quite close to playing the whole original piece. It's worth the effort.
After finally 30 day of practicing the piece i finally learned it, its amazing thank to you and tomorrow i have competition for guitar i will play it wish me luck❤
There's one festival in my country, where there are many categories to go with, so I've decided to play this "Asturias", but this was hard for me, and that's why I cam here.
I really wanna start playing classical guitar. I'm a metal guy who I would say is a decent finger picker but I've been fascinated with classical for almost a year. Thinking of buying my first classical guitar in a month or so
This is great; I never tried to learn this song because I was intimidated by the triplets(?), which I may never be able to play properly, but this version lets me play this fine song 90-95%.
Yeah, it seems easy and it really is but if you're a begineer you'll have to get some finger flexibility before for that positions. The tab is very simple, it's not a technical limitation but a physical one, but don't worry if you don't get it, after playing and playing you'll get that flexibility without even realizing it.
La tengo apuntada desde que la escuché, aunque yo la creía inalcanzable, al menos por ahora. Pero entonces, me sorprende este video con una versión accesible para mi como principiante :D ... un canal 10/10 xD
I used your long tutorial to make an arrangement for electric guitar. On measure 17 where the triplets used to be. I instead played the triplets with using my 2nd finger holding the E note and my 1st finger to hold down the high B. Then the triplet goes: pluck the E with your thumb(p) and pluck the open B with first finger(i) and high B with second finger (m). Also on the 6th beats, I seen alot of people dropping the triplet to give them time to change chords. You can hardly tell. Thanks for the great help.
