    Although the Humboldt Forum is a recent building, you should’ve mentioned that part of it is a replica of the old Royal Palace, severly hit during WW2 but destroyed during the DDR period. It’s sad to think it could have been rebuilt as Dresde’s Frauenkirche.
    My personal favs would be Brandenburg Gate, Berliner Dom and Pergamo Museum.

    All the people think Paris and London are the most influential cities in Europe that's why everyone ignores Berlin

    • @patrickhauser588
      @patrickhauser588 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Well Berlin terms of influence, artists and acitivities is one of the three best cities in Europe and one of the best cities in the world as well. Berlin is only not as important as Paris or London economically. In Germany that title belongs to Frankfurt, Munich or Stuttgart. In Germany everything is shared.

      @@patrickhauser588 Bevor the war all these things belongs to Berlin, after the war the Banking Sector go to Frankfurt ( The Deutsche Bank for example has their Headquater in Berlin ) , a huge part ofThe industriell - Sector ( Siemens is founded in Berlin / Siemens & Halske ) goes to Munich. Music and Art Scene is big and importend as Paris , London and New Yorck. Everybody complain about Berlin, but no other City has lost as much ( economically ) as Berlin after the War as Berlin ( especialy after the wall was builded )

      Berlin also probably has the most dark and complicated history.
