I ordered the pillow after seeing this review, and I've used it once. I really like it. the height is good for me, the carved out space on both sides helps keep mask in place and helps me keep my neck straight so I'm not trying to lower my chin towards my chest. As a plus, if I'm laying on my side watching something on my laptop (without the cpap), the area carved out for the mask works really well for my glasses so they don't get pushed to the side. The tube strap is annoying--I wish it were detachable--but I stuffed it into the pillowcase and that kept it out of sight. Definitely worth the money for me.
I wanted to thank you for reviewing the Contour Max CPAP Pillow. I have used it for two nights. Prior to the Contour I was using the Ikstar pillow. The Contour is more comfortable and my head stays in place all night. The Ikstar was getting more uncomfortable the more I used it. My leaks rate is reduced usually 0 and my AHI has improved as well. I also have the F40 mask thanks to your review as well.
Thank you for the review. I also wish the pillow was larger so I could just roll without falling off the edge and having to readjust. Also, thank you for the tip about moving the thin white layer to the outside, I must try this as I find the other layers a bit firm.
Hi there, you can just use a small jacket/hat hook such as this. www.homedepot.ca/product/nystrom--2-pack-1-13-16-inch-46-mm-utility-metal-single-hook-black-finish/1001063806 And then use coil hair ties from a dollar store, to keep the tube in place. www.amazon.ca/Kitsch-Piece-Hair-Coil-Black/dp/B07BYWSV7L/ref=asc_df_B07BYWSV7L/?tag=googleshopc0c-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=706725225060&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=4688947905556942041&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9001553&hvtargid=pla-607574031292&mcid=79b68faecdb63219967ea6d9c88089cd&gad_source=1&th=1 It looks a lot cleaner than a CPAP tube hook. Not as adjustable though. Hope this helps!
I have used the Ikstar but I recently bought the Contour Max. I prefer the Contour. It is more comfortable, holds my head in place better and I have less leaks.

I'm going to try and make this myself, from an existing foam.
Could you please expound in the tube hook parts needed from Home Depot. Thanks for this review.

Hi. I just saw this and am wondering if you have used it. Doing research and thought I would ask.
I have used the Ikstar but I recently bought the Contour Max. I prefer the Contour. It is more comfortable, holds my head in place better and I have less leaks.
