I love all 3 trucks. It was a tough decision. I really wanted the maxx v2 in the widemaxx form and it was $125 more than the kraton 42 2.5 so i went with the kraton. Cant go wrong with either of them
Yeah I agree, that’s really what I tell my viewers in a situation like this, you can’t go wrong with any of them, they are all beasts! It all boils down to how much you wanna spend and what your preference is 👍

@@Joercgarage yeah I usually do a speed run, a off-road run, durability test, and ramp jumps when doing a comparison, verses, maiden runs etc. .. from now on I think I will incorporate height tests as well when comparing Rc’s and combine it in the performance on the ramp category!
Could you compare the Maxx v1 with the widekit vs the Outcast v2? I noticed you had one with the green wide kit. I think they might be the same size. Also seems like the Kraton v2 is the same size as the Maxx v2? I enjoy your videos. Maybe you could just do those size comparisons in a video and it would help a lot of people. Thank you!

That’s a tough one, the Maxx and the Kraton are both fully capable of what you wanna do and more, the Kraton is cheaper than the Maxx and has more features like a chassis brace and front and rear sway bars, however the Maxx is a tank and pretty durable as well, both are fast! Not sure if you saw the speed run video I just did with these 3 but the Maxx did come out on top in that category but the Kraton handled better in that run due to the fact of the front and rear sway bars keeping it locked in on the street, it really is a tough decision cause I really like them both! I’m not helping am I? Lol, at the end of the day you can’t go wrong with either one, me personally I like the Maxx v2 better but that’s just me
@@user-lj7ox2zy9d besides all the reasons I just explained above, I really liked the Maxx when it first came out and I still do but when Traxxas released the Maxx V2 they really improved upon the platform and made a already beast of a truck that much better, I guess the Maxx v2 set the bar personally for me and although the Kraton is a awesome truck it really is! I just prefer the Maxx v2, I just like driving it more, personal preference I guess, everyone’s opinion is different and everyone likes different things

I wonder if u took the slipper clutch out of the 4s kraton which is the 57 tooth spur gear & replaced it with the infraction vendetta slipper clutch which is a 50 tooth how much better it will smash
Well both trucks as you know are excellent bashers, both are fast, durable and handle great on the ramp, with that being said, ask yourself, how much do you wanna spend and what kinda driver are you? Both are capable of the same things, wheelies on command, backflips for days etc….the Maxx is 100 dollars more than the Outcast and the Outcast is the better basher, it’s practically built for the hardcore bashers,it’s a stunt truck, you have a granite, take it to the next level and get the Outcast, hope this helps🤙

Maxx all day! Parts easy to come by, Traxxas tech support is great and it’s very durable

After looking at the Typhon and the Kraton they look pretty close in size, not 💯 sure if they are exactly identical without taking them out

Umm that’s a tough one, both of them are equally durable, I haven’t had any breakages on either one, they are both the same in that regard
