could infusible ink markers be used with toner reactive foil? Like if I did exactly what you did with that coaster but then after that I put minq toner reactive foil over the coaster and heat pressed it, would it foil the paw print? If not, does cricut make toner pens compatible with maker?
Can anyone answer this question I have because I can't seem to find a tutorial on.. how to get the infusible ink markers to flood fill the image in explore air 2? TIA... sorry just saw my typo & fixed lol
I keep trying these setup for the infusible markers on paper but it won't do all the lines. I did reseat the cricut infusible pen a couple times, still not drawing all the lines. I'll keep trying but very disappointed at the product. Thanks for the info. It helped a lot in trying to find the settings which can be frustrating every time I change materials. I may try putting 2 pages and taping them see if that will work. Wish me luck.
Can it be filled in? I noticed the original image is a block colour, but you only went with an outline. Was there a reason for that? Would it bleed, or were you just being conservative!? Do the pens work as well if you draw on something directly, by hand? And also, do they work say on tumblers in the mug press? So many questions, ha! Thanks! 😅
I could not get the pens to make contact with the paper. I didn't hear a loud click like I do with the regular Cricut pens but I feel like if I push it in there any further, it will break the pen holder. Help!
Hi I have been reading a lot of the comments about you using the 32 lb. copy paper, and you say it does have a sheen to it, where can you pick it up at? the town that I live in doesn’t even have any kind of an Office Depot or Staples, can you pick it up at possibly the UPS store? Great job explaining everything
Just a tip, when using the term something is "cheaper" it makes it sound like it doesn't have the quality of its name brand equal. You could always say it's "less expensive" or "cost efficient" makes the item sound equal in quality to the name brand.

Very informative! I'm actually going to be buying the Heat Press next week so I can make my own shirt designs (my first project is going to be a tote bag). I've added these supplies to my Amazon cart (yes, heat tape and butcher paper too!), but you answered my "What can I draw these designs on" question. Good to know you can use copy paper!

Fran Apple I am answering. Yes. You can draw anything with the pens. It so fun. You can upload a hand drawn into DS too, resize, and then print on laser paper. Then use the pens.
On the Cricut instructions, they flip the coaster over where the part of the coaster that has the design is face down. You did it face up. Have you noticed a difference between the two?

I have the regular marker size and the broader Cricut infusible ink pens and with the adapter they are too big, without adapter they are much too small. What am I doing wrong?
Good morning, I was watching to learn more about the markers. My question is, if using regular printer paper, do you have to apply heat right away or can we store it and iron it on another day? also does this rule apply to the laser paper as well? thank you any help on this is appreciated. btw nice job explaining on how to use the markers
good question! I don't see why you'd need to transfer it immediately. The ink requires heat to transfer, so I don't think letting it sit for a few days would impact its ability to transfer. Always worth trying!
So far had been working only on regular iron ons so for me this is a new interesting technique! Can this same thing be done on fabric (with the markers I mean? Thank you!

Thank you for the great video! Question though....Even though all the types of markers are awesome, my OCD kicks in and it drives me CRAZZZZY to see the "starting dot" of ink on every letter and area of where/when the Cricut has to lift the marker up and continue writing. Plus, it looks very unprofessional if you are making something for a customer that has writing on it with markers (Haven't tried pens yet). If you understand what I am trying to explain with this dot of heavy ink, then is there ANY WAY of hiding this? Maybe do 2 passes?
So, only Cricut has the technology to have fonts “fill in” with the Cricut. These are called Writing Fonts. There are no 3rd party (meaning non-Cricut brand) fonts that can do this. So, we use our fonts mainly for vinyl, Iron-On, and print then cut! :) We don’t use our Cricut to write often. You can fill in the words by hand if you'd like.

And the weird thing is the message I get, because on top of my screen, there is some sort of red banner that says : ... there was a problem removing your favorite material ... ???? I'm trying to add, not to remove any. I tried to delete all the materials in my list, to be able to start over again, but after 4 items, it just doesn't let me add any more.
