I've also bought all of their albums and DVDs (at least those that are still available) which is the first time in literally decades I've supported a band that way. I love that these ladies really are about putting on a show. Saw them in ATL at a sold out theater last May and they just hit the stage at 120 mph and knocked out about the first five songs with hardly a breath in between. 👍
@@breakpack The funny thing is, I wanna say they did everything by the book that night. No extended versions of Domination, Don't You Tell Me, One and Only or any of the other songs they've reconstructed for a live show, which seemed very unusual. Still a great show. 👍

The way Misa so seamlessly switches between using a pick and slapping is amazing to me. In some close ups you can see her holding it with her index finger while slapping with the rest of her fingers, the close up between @5:27 and @5:39 in this video shows it very clearly, and then right back to using it. The skill level of this band never ceases to amaze me.
Yes. They have a bunch of great songs. They just redid Play, adding vocals, and that's great. Love Freedom (live) and Manners with Black Hole live is sensationally varied. Daydreaming is special and laid back. They have a huge work ethic and are prollific.
The end of Play led into this. I'm starting to learn Japanese because of them. As I said on your first vid, MISA plucks, picks, slaps and sometimes TAPS. (and she has dimples). All these women are at the top of their game. Welcome to Band-Maid.
If you watch the latest video release, the live video of Unleash!!!, you may fall completely unconscious from Misa's bass work. She is a unique bass player. Definitely a unicorn.

Akane is one hell of a drummer. I have two favorite drummers and I have listened to A LOT of bands! They are Hannes van Dahl from Sabaton and Akane from Band-Maid ♥ Monsters on drums! You might want to check Freedom from that same concerts for an amazing drum solo
