So cool ! I was there past weekend and hiked 6 different trails in 4 days. Raven Cliffs was at the end and only went to the lookout. I did look at the start of Dismal and thought best to leave it for another trip 🙂
That warning sign at the beginning of the Dismal Trail scared me away the first time! Definitely a great trail when you have plenty of time, water and snacks! It sounds like you had some great hikes! Thank you for watching!

I worked at Asbury Hills United Methodist Camp at Cleveland back in the 80s and my campers were in the 5th grade. The director never let me work with the high school students. I missed out on going to Raven Cliff Falls when I was young. LOL
Terrific vid. I was there yesterday and stopped at the suspension bridge warning sign. May do a round 2 where I do the path you did here. Looks like an epic hike. BTW, do you know of anyway to get to the base of the falls down where the water is dropping about 100feet?
How long did it take you to do the whole thing? What kind of food do you take on a day hike like this? TMI but what do you do about bathroom? lol thank you! great video!!!
This took a few hours - I can't remember exactly maybe 4-6 hours. I take a ton of water, some uncrustables (my fav hiking food!), granola bars and slim Jims. For the bathroom you just have to go in nature and follow leave no trace guidelines. Thank you for watching! I hope you have great week!
This was like the first trail my wife and i hiked when we were dating! around 1:27 on the left we carved our initials into a tree over there somewhere hahahaha

I’ve hiked the Raven Cliff Falls Trail but i’ve never done the dismal trail. That trail looks WAY too hard for me 🤣. Another great video!

Never to late! You can do an out and back on the blue trail and get to the suspension bridge without hiking the dismal trail!
