Wow! You all are brave for tackling Emery Creek in the Winter! This is honestly one of Georgia's best summer hikes as the creek and dense forest (usually covered in blooming rhododendron) makes the trek truly magical. Great adventure guys!

The videography on this video was freaking amazing. Loved the rain drops, the color of the leaves, the rushing waters and that awesome rock! This video made me feel very very cold! Very cold. It did make me smile...a lot with all those creek crossings and wet cold feet. I think we will wait until the summer to visit these waterfalls. Winter time....that water won't be fun. What a fun crew! That is what made it awesome.

I really enjoyed your video! I hike all the time in Northeast Georgia. I've never been to this one though. It's a little west of where I usually go. Thanks for posting!

The one guy said, "We must be doing something wrong." Yes, you are, lol, only do Emery Creek in the summer. Last time I did it was August and that was a good call, I swam in the plunge pool at the falls.

Took a solo hike up there in the eighties, on my way up I heard what sounded like something banging on a 55 gal .drum, scary, I decided to abort the hike, it followed me for a good quarter mile going back out, friends told me it was probably a moonshiner, or a pot patch

You are wearing wool socks right? Right? Also, Bearden Falls trail says hold my beer.
EDIT: never mind, this trail is sketchier than Bearden Falls.
