The 39' is the Best looking Willys ever made, even in stock trim.
I took care of the guy the last 5 years of his life stands out as the best statement. Great car no doubt. We race gasser's in Michigan as the Great lakes gasser's. It would be nice to meet you. God bless you for being a caring person.

For some guys, their "holy grail" car is a Ferarri 250 swb, or a Porsche 356 speedster, maybe its a McLaren F1, or Corvette Stingray split window, or a Lamborghini Miura, Lamborghini LP400 Countach, etc.. All fine grail cars.. but for me, it's always been a real deal, steel bodied Willys coupe! Drag racing royalty. Stone, Woods & Cook, Big John Mazmanian, KS Pittman, etc.. the ultimate grail car for me. 🤌🏼😍

@@TOBYH The '39 seemed to be the ugly duckling Willys front end for the longest time, but they've become one of the most desirable front ends and certainly one of the most rare. I love the '39 shark nose!!

its in a nestalgia ford and its a played out fanboy engine swap... at this point its basically the bottom dollar american swap version of a honda... unless its in something unique or very well done, ive lost all respect for an ls swap..
