Hi you are doing really good work,I have problem with my peugeot 207 2008 hdi airbag light on took it to a garage they couldn't fix it the codes I have are p0651 ignition positive supply volt and the data is showing neutralization switch faulty please help me if you can thank you ,and if you have wirring diagram that would help me a lot as the plugs under the seats have five wires and I don't know what they are. Thank you
Hi I'm like your Chanel very professional fix. Did you had some case in past with ESP light on ford focus MK2? Please maybe you can have idea where I should look for mistake. Symptoms are when the engine reaches the temperature of 90 degrees, the esp light comes on and the tachometer pointer works once and does not work. When the tachometer stops working, the engine runs erratically and goes off. After reading the fault codes, it shows ABS U2023, EPS U1900-20, IC U2196-20, and OBD2 P1132 When the engine is turned off and on again, the light goes out and the engine runs normally, ESP light comes back again in few minutes. What I noticed that after removing the plug from the temperature sensor when engine is working and cold on the dashboard the ESP light comes on have same symptoms as after engine get 90 degrees. I replaced temperature sensor for new original didn't work still same problem. I know that you could fix this very fast because you have professional knowledge. Kind regards
Great video I've got same problem with exactly same model car If I get abs pump module from same model car and same year will it fit ok or do serial numbers have to match the numbers on mine are missing any help would be appreciated. Many thanks
You should be able to see the numbers on the ecu information with the scan tool... Nevertheless, yes, as far as it comes from the same car, should work... 👍👍👍
hi, Louis you must have thought about using the new valve block with the original ecu, is there a reason why you didn't do that? .. thanks for the video
Not really... they are not coded to the car... was just easier to straight swap... Would have to remove the whole unit to separate the two parts any way. But you can obviously do that... 👍👍👍
does the steering wheel was hard to turn with that ESP error ? I have a 207 too, is not CC but looks exactly like that one (interior, engine, everything) Im not mechanic, im having that error with abs, and the steering wheel very hard for like 3 years now. Is very intermittent. Peugeot wanted to charge me to change the electric power steering motor, BUT i dont think thats the problem, (it would not have to work intermittently). The last month the steering wheel worked for 10 days in a row. I got an AUTEL, so im going to do tests with it. Do you think if I get 0 data in braking pressure, it is very likely to be the abs pump failure? Sorry for my english. im from Argentina. I saw your two peugeot videos and really like them!! Best Regards.
Thanks for this video, do I need a specialist diagnostic tool to take the light off the dash or would fitting the new abs pump automatically disable it if it’s the culprit. Thanks!
@@LMAutoRepairs Thanks for the reply, the problem I’m having is that the fault code doesn’t show up on a cheap OBD scanner. So I haven’t actually diagnosed the car yet, but based on reading it’s likely the abs pump or wheel speed sensor. I found a cheap used part for the pump and thought I could just test it by fitting it,was hoping it would just clear the fault on dash straightway(if that was the cause of the fault)
I wouldn't do that... Parts cannon is never the way... Any local garage will scan the car for you for a small fee... from there you can do a much more informed decision on how to proceed... Replacing parts just in the hope that it will resolve, is not very advisable... plus, you might need to clear the faults anyway...
@@LMAutoRepairs I’ve already got the car up in the air with the wheel off. The only thing that’s stopping is rusted to death torx screw to get the arch liner off 😂😂
Hi Again LM, I’ve since had the car read and it was the same fault code C1302. I bought a second hand pump, a mechanic has come round to fit it. The original code has cleared but now shows a C1398 which is a programming fault. Have you come across this before, the mechanic is advising I take it to specialist or Peugeot themselves to programme it. I was confused as I thought there was no coding, the part numbers were the exact same. I’m really lost, it’s becoming a real headache. Any help appreciated 😢
@@LMAutoRepairs Thank you so much for the reply, yes the car is Peugeot 207 1.6 although it’s the CC model, looking at the part number on the pump it’s the same as this one. I’m not entirely sure what you mean regarding where the code is stored, I’ll ask the mechanic. But he came with a diagnostic tool which read the exact same code as in this video, the used abs pump I bought removed the fault but has produced another one. I’m tempted to buy another used unit, what do you think?
@BOSKILLZX That code indicated that the module you bought has a different configuration... All it needs is configuration, pp2000 or diagbox should be able to do it... Perhaps the unit you bought came from a normal car, and not a cabriolet, or something like that... 👍👍👍
Hi I have exactly the same problem on a peugeot 1007. Unfortunately impossible to find the ate reference. a vendor selling a different reference told me that it will work if I code the abs bloc with a diag tool. if anyone can tell me if its true ? and is it possible to code it if I just plug the electric part of the new one without taking off the old one? To be sure it works before taking off brake hoses and bleed the system. thanks. edit: great video , so easy to understand what to do

About time someone put one up about a esp pump fault been having this problem awhile thanks does the replacement abs esp pump need to be the same part number ? ?
Wow, at 10:00 that cover is actually open below in Peugeots? That's nasty design for that wiring connector. Water, salt, grime etc. Sure there's the wheel liner, but still that's quite nasty location. Edit: Forgot to thank for good video again 👍👍
Well if you say the pressure sensor can't be fixed, it can't be fixed. I have never watched you miss an opportunity to open a sealed unit before, with a view to repair of course.

Check for air leaks etc...
Check check live data...
Looks like the ESP light is coming on because of the engine faults...

The Focus MK2 can suffer from bad solder joints in the instrument cluster, I had an immobiliser fault on mine that was due to the instrument cluster.

About mileage, is not necessary programming the abs kms?
All live data is in km/h

Depends on the models...
