Good luck guys, I hope you can find those giant Crocs when it matters. Get those numbers up first with the high tide over the flats and don't forget to pack some vibes for when the tide drops off and the deeper water come into play.
Nice fish ! Appreciate all your freely given advice and tricks. I was looking back the other day for your tutorial on rigging the swinging sinker/weedless hook setup, but couldn't find it. Looking forward to see how it all goes. God bless. The brag mat and soft glides arrived recently too, so thanks! :)
You are the GOODS, My Lure Box!! My main problem at mo, and has been for too long, is I’m not striking on my strikes and pick ups, of the fish. At the Camden Haven yesterday land based, on a pretty hot bite, I managed to lose four fish and land one. I reckon I’m just missing too many fish. My instinct is to give a little line when fish pick up my lure and let them have it, when I should be striking. It’s a habit that’s become a bad one. Great fish by the way John, and good luck in the Classic. I’m predicting you and Jai will smash it, yr too good not too.😊
Thanks John another great 'this is how I'm going about it' video. I've recently rigged up a couple of rods with 8lb braid and 10 lb leader and I thought that was fishing light. Can't imagine handling a sizable flattie with 4lb and 6lb.
The amount of super helpful info you readily share is just incredible mate. Just looking at some rods to throw bigger lures, mainly soft glides on and wondering what the weight of the soft glides are as a guide? Cheers and best of luck in the comp
Mate mate mate.... no hard bodies? I would definitely pack a few bent minnows and jerk baits. Looking forward for your next few videos. Good luck with the classic 🤙
Hollow belly hack take the first layer of the plastic but. Oval tail part leave on mix a small batch of plastic up just re dip oval bit 3 times watch the action on that. I like the way you have kept that same boat over all these years, you don't need a fancy boat to catch quality fish
